Lyriq POV
"Stop, Nate, stop." I cried tiredly.

"Shut the fuck up, bitch." He threw me into the trunk.

I whimpered.

My head hit the door very hard.

"I'm sorry, Nate." I cried.

"No, bitch, you disobeyed me. Didn't I tell you to listen?" He gritted.

"Yes, you did, I'm so sorry for not listening." I cried.

"It's too late—

"Lyriq! Where you at?" I heard Billie's voice.

"Help me, he's fucking crazy!" I screamed.

"Shut the fuck up." Nate punched me in the face.

Everything went black.

Billie POV
"Lyriq? Was that you? Where the fuck are you?" I looked around.

I could've sworn that I just heard her.

I saw a car resting along the driveway.

I wanted to walk past it, but my gut was telling me not to.

I started to get an iffy feeling. I felt my fight or flight mode activated.

"Let me get my goddamn gun." I mumbled to myself.

I jogged to my car, grabbing my Gen5 out of the glove department.

I stuffed it in my waistband, slowly approaching the car.

I peaked inside the windows, the door flung up—a blonde-haired white man opened fire at me.

I fell to the ground.

I started feeling woozy.

"Billie!" Lyriq screamed.

"You tryna take my girl from me?" He walked up to me.

"What?" I croaked out.

I started wheezing. It felt like I wasn't getting enough oxygen in.

"This the nigga you was fucking on?" He turned towards the car.

He must be the guy from the messages.

"Fuck you, bro." I coughed up blood.

"Put the gun down, now!" I heard.

The white guy took off running.

He didn't get far before shots begin getting let off.

He was near the car.

"S-she's in the car. Don't shoot her!" I yelled with all of my might.

My eyes started to close involuntarily.
