*recap*

"I can do anything I want right now," I said.

"So do something!" Char yelled while laughing.

"I will." I took out my phone and went to the person I wanted to talk to the most.

Taylor.

Taylors POV

I was scrolling through twitter when I saw Ali's name pop up on my phone. I answered it not wasting another second.

"Hello?"

"Hey, I love you," she said. She didn't sound like herself.

"Are you drunk?"

"No, I'm Ali. Why does everyone keep asking me that?"

"Ali, you're drunk."

"Stop. I hate you. I hate that you hurt me and I hate that I still love you after you did. You need to listen to me and what I'm saying to you," she slurred.

Even though she was drunk, these were her real thoughts. She had no control over what she was saying, its like it was her subconscious talking.

"I'm listening. I'm listening to you right now so say anything. Anything you want," I pleaded.

"I miss you and think about you every day but you messed up and I'm not coming back to you, even though I still love you. It hurts too much."

I heard voices in the back and then she hung up.

Thats how she felt. I knew I really never left her mind now that she drunk called me. I didn't know what to do next.

Alis POV

"Was that Taylor?" Tiffany said while taking the phone out of my hand.

"Uhhh huh."

"Ok, this is bad. Tori, go get water. Like, lots of water."

Tori nodded and ran out.

"The after party is at my parents' beach house, Ali. Get sobered up for that. Or at least try," she said while moving me over to the sink.

Tori came back soon enough with the water. She made me drink it, I drank 7 bottles of it. Then, I threw up.

"Hopefully this works. She wasn't that drunk to begin with," Tiffany says.

I groaned. Tiffany came behind me and held my hair back.

"You suck," I told her.

"Hey, I'm not the one who insisted on drinking."

"I'm never doing that again."

Getting the alcohol out of my sistem hurt. I was still a little tipsy, that I couldn't undo.

Tori came back with more water for Charlotte and Bridget. She probably looked so weird; a girl carrying 20 water bottles in the bathroom.

"You better rinse your mouth. You don't want vomit breath."

"Its not like I'll be kissing anyone anyway," I said while getting up.

"Yeah, I mean after that call to Taylor I wouldn't expect it."

My eyes widened.

I turned around. "I'm screwed."

"Do you even know what you said?" She asked.

"Probably how I felt...ugh I probably sounded so vulnerable!"

"Well, you are."

"Yeah but I didn't want him knowing that!"

I rinsed my mouth and looked at her. I felt so sad. Getting drunk, well, barely drunk, didn't help anything.

She handed me a piece of gum. I laughed and hugged her.

"What now?"

"We go dance, and then we go to the beach house."

"Sounds good to me."

-

My senior prom didn't go as planned, but oh well.

The after party was somewhat better.

I was sitting outside by the pool by myself when I heard the door open.

Sean soon joined me.

"You ok?"

"Not really, but what can you do?" I spoke softly.

"I know it hurts really bad. I've been there. But it will get better."

"Thats what everyone says! But it never does. I haven't gotten better."

"You need to see him," he told me. "You need to see him and talk to him. Thats how it got better for me."

I turned my head to look at him. "You're a great guy Sean."

He smiled. "Thanks."

"I'm gonna go home. I'm just a downer."

"You need a ride?"

"Yeah, thanks."

We got up and walked inside. I thanked Tiffany and said goodbye to all my friends.

The drive home was silent. We pulled up to my house and I thanked him for the ride.

I walked inside and went straight upstairs. My mom was probably asleep. I took off my makeup and got dressed out of my dress. I climbed into bed and tried not to think. My head hurt too much already.
