Ali's POV
When we landed, we went straight to the hotel in SD. It was so beautiful here, it reminded me of home. In the car, nick was driving and it was me, Matt, shawn, Cameron, Aaron in the back and mahogany in the front seat. The rest were in the other car with Bart. I was kinda glad that I wasn't with Taylor. It would we so awkward. Plus, Matt had his hand on my thigh the whole time.
I missed Taylor, deeply.
We hadn't talked for less than 24 hours and it killed me.
We needed to resolve things fast, or I may explode.
I basically felt like I had no one. Because without him, I felt useless. He gave me purpose, and now that we weren't on speaking terms, I was so bored.
The only person I had was Matt, since I kinda isolated myself from everyone else. Shawn, an exception if course. That means I would probably be spending the majority of this strip with Matt.
"We're here!" Mahogany yelled.
"YASSS." Cameron yelled.
I turned around and smiled at him. We all unbuckled our seat belts and got put of the car.
We pulled out all our luggage, Matt grabbed mine.
"What are you doing babe?"
"Getting your bags, duh." He laughed.
"My arms aren't broken Matt I can get them myself."
"I know, but I want to." He said, kissing the side of my head.
I returned a smile. Suddenly, my phone rang.
It saw the T, and got excited, thinking it was Taylor.
But no, Tiffany.
"I'll be right back, I gotta take this." I told the group.
I walked a fair distance, within a couple feet of everyone.
As I held my phone up to my ear, I saw everyone else emerge out of the other car. Including Taylor.
"Hello?" I spoke into the phone.
"Hey, you texted me saying you wanted to talk. What's up?"
I had texted her earlier. I wanted help on the whole not-talking-to-Taylor situation.
"Oh yeah, so um...me and Taylor are fighting."
"What happened?"
"Well, I'm Matt's girl now and Taylor feels like he needs to back off. I don't know what happened. One day, we were best friends. Then, in a matter of minutes, he tells me that we need to be distant. Something about my "image". He doesn't want me to be known for being with two guys at a time."
"But you're not with him, so why is that even a problem?"
"We're more than friends, Tiffany. Even though I'm with Matt, I love Taylor. You know that."
I felt Taylor's eyes on me. He looked concerned. He was burning to talk to me, ask me what's wrong, help me. I knew he was; I could tell. And I, wanted the same thing.
"Okay, so what are you gonna do?"
"I DON'T KNOW! That's why I need help. What do you suggest?"
She thought, then replied. "Ask him about it. If you don't want to do that, then forget it. Why should you put in effort if he doesn't?"
"You're right, thanks tiff."
"No problem."
We hung up and I sighed.
