Taylor's POV

I grabbed her face and kissed her. She kissed back, thank god. She backed away after a few seconds. Matt was right, she was a good kisser.

"Sorry," I said as I walked towed the door, trying to exit.

She grabbed my arm and pulled me back.

"Don't be."

"So you're not mad?" I questioned.

"No, but I do want an explanation. For the storming, acting like a douche, that." She said referring to the kiss.

"I think I love you." I said, not regretting anything.

"Okay," she sat down. "And..."

"You're perfect. In every way. And I always loved you, I found that out when I met you in person. I knew Matt was crazy about you, he had been longer than me. So, I needed to be a good friend, I let him have you. At breakfast when you told me were weren't gonna push your date with him, I was relieved. But when you went out with Sean that night, Matt got upset and I said he should ask you out to try and comfort him. I didn't think he'd actually do it. So here I stand, my best friend asked out girl of my dreams, because of me. And whenever your together, I get mad. Thus causing the storming and acting like a douche." I pored everything out.

"And what about the kiss?"

"Kissing you had been on my mind for a while. Matt said you were a good kisser. That made me really jealous. I got upset that he was the first one to kiss you, not me. I'm glad I kissed you."

"Me too."

I was shocked.

"Wait what?" I was so dumbfounded, I probably sounded like an idiot.

"I like you too Taylor, but Matt's really fragile like that. I couldn't just ditch him for you."

"I know." I said sitting beside her. Our faces barely touching.

"But just so you know, me and Matt are inexclusive," I felt myself smile. "Meaning that we don't have a label."

"Then go out with me, if you don't have a label."

"Taylor, no." She said shaking my head and standing up.

"Why not?"

"I need some time. With or without Matt by my side. And I recommend the same for you." She said heading for the door.

"Al?" I spoke softly.

She turned around.

"We're still best friends right?"

She weakly smiled, causing my heart to break right then and there.

"Yeah. Always."

And with that, she walked out. Leaving me alone.

Ali's POV

I was about to break down. I had to hide my feelings though, for Matt's sake. And mine.

Isn't this what I had always wanted? Taylor asking me out? No. It wasn't. Cause if it was, I would have said yes wouldn't I?

I didn't want to go on dates. I wanted a best friend. A best friend who I could kiss and cuddle with. No labels at first, then if things got serious, we would call each other boyfriend and girlfriend. Even though I had declined Taylor's offer, that didn't change my feelings for him. Or Matt for that matter.

"Is he ok?" Matt asked me as I returned to the kitchen area.

"Yeah," I hesitated. "Just give him time to cool off, he'll be fine."

They all nodded. I could tell they were concerned.

----

After our small meet and greet, it was time to head to Orlando. I was thrilled, probably the highlight of my day. Orlando was only a few hours from Miami. Meaning I got to see Tiffany. She was visiting me. And who knows? Maybe even Sean.

I missed him. If we had never broken up, or gotten back together that night, things would be totally different for me. I wouldn't have to worry about hurting Matt, or breaking Taylor's heart. I would already have him and I wouldn't be single.

I knew how are the guys felt about Sean, they hated him. Especially Taylor. I saw the way they looked at each other.

Taylor knew about me and Sean's history, he saw it before his own eyes. The first day Sean walked in the room at magcon, there was tension between them. And him coming to our hotel later that night didn't help that case. Especially when I came home in tears after our date. THAT was the worst of all.

I used to think that it was all of the "over protective best friend stuff." But now I knew the real reason why.

I could see why he felt threatened. Me and Sean dated for a year before me and Taylor even met. There was a lot of competition, and Taylor thought that Sean won.

Matt hated him as well. Matt had always had a crush on me. He liked me when me and Sean were together. And after we broke up, he thought he had a chance. Then he came back for me, ruining Matt's chances.

I think Sean got the memo though; that he shouldn't come to Magcon and that we would see each other soon. But it if he did appear and come to visit me, then who knows what Matt, or Taylor, would do?

Would they start a fight? Would they even talk for that matter? Those were the kinds of things keeping me up at night.

Snapping me out of my thoughts, carter tapped me on the shoulder, telling me it was time to go.

I texted Tiffany and boarded. I was sitting next to Nash and shawn.

I put my earbuds in and withdrew from the world.
