Chapter 55

I woke up the next morning next to Taylor, remembering the events of last night. This tour was going to be over, and I had my last show today. I shut my eyes and tried to look at the silver lining.

More time with Taylor? He said we were going on tour together.

But, I would miss my friends. I felt like there was a certain darkness in my life. Like, I was happy, but I wasn't at the same time. I knew things would never be the same, and that's what hurt the most.

"Good morning," I heard him say next to me.

"Morning," I mumbled back.

"I feel like you're upset."

I turned to look at him. "Not upset...just....incomplete I guess."

"I felt the same way, but change is good Al."

"I know I know, but, these past 9 months being apart of this tour was just such a big part of my life."

"And this next tour will be a big part of our lives too, and we'll still be together."

I sighed, "I guess if you're so optimistic about this then I should be too."

"Yeah, I'm sure all the guys can agree."

I smiled at him, a smile that showed I was trying.

"Go get dressed, we have to be in the lobby in an hour," he told me.

I nodded and climbed out of bed. I went to my suitcase and pulled out jeans and a white lace shirt. I did my makeup and hair and slipped on my sperrys.

Taylor and I headed down to the lobby once we were done. The stage was all set up and we saw all our friends there.

"Starting in 5 minutes!" Bart called out.

"How you feeling Ali?" Cameron asked.

"Sad, but excited. Its all bittersweet."

"Agreed," Hayes added.

We all went backstage.

"Everyone get in a huddle! I wanna say something," Nash said. We all listened to him and assembled in a huddle. "I just wanna thank you guys for giving me the best experience of my life. You guys are my family, I don't know what I would do without you guys. Although we're all going our separate ways, we'll always be together. Lets have the best last show ever."

We all smiled as we got our cue to go on. We heard them cheering for us from outside.

We all rushed to the stage, and once we were there the biggest smile spread across my face.

"Hey guys!!" Jack J yelled.

They all cheered. Now was the time where we answered their questions, then the performances and then the meet and greet.

"Who wants to ask some questions?" Jack G asked smiling.

Hands immediately shot up. He called on a girl.

"I have a question for Ali, how was prom?"

I smiled. "It was fun, but the days before it were much better. Going home is always fun. I'm going back for my high school graduation so I'm looking forward to that."

A bunch of more questions were asked, directed towards all of us and towards certain people.

At the end, Cameron looked at me and I knew something was up.

"I just wanna say something real quick, and I don't want anyone to get upset,"

Oh god.

"This will be the last show of the Magcon Tour for us," he said.

The crowd gasped. I felt like I needed to say something.

"I know, its shocking. I found out last night but guys, it not the end of the world. I was sad at first, but I realized that you need change. Change is good."

"We're all going to remain a family, you guys have made our lives amazing. We would be nowhere, literally nowhere without you all. Its time for a new chapter in our lives. And I hope you can all support us."

They seemed to take it well. Everyone I had met that day was happy to see me, which made me feel like they would be okay. I scrolled through twitter and retweeted some things the fans had said to me. I posted a picture on instagram of Taylor, Cameron and I earlier. It felt nice to be in the loop again. I just didn't want that to change.

Taylor walked out of the bathroom and saw me.

"You happy?"

I smiled at how he cared. "Yes, thank you for asking."

He sat next to me on the bed and pulled me into a hug.

"You know I'm coming to your graduation right."

I laughed. "I guess I know that now."

"I really feel like things are working out for us now Al. And for you, too. You're graduating high school, your mom is getting married again, we're going on tour together. I'm just really happy."

Him talking about it made me excited.

"Me too."
