Chapter 6

Sydney's POV:
"Oh my gosh, Lauren, I'm so sorry. I completely forgot you like Cal." I say as a tear runs down her face.
"If things don't work out ill send him your way, okay?" I ask trying to fix everything.
"Fine. " she huffs sitting down on her bed.
"I really am truly sorry. It all just happened so quickly, it was in the heat of the moment. " I say sitting next to her.
"It's fine, I'll be okay. We're still friends. " she says smiling.
"Okay good, now then I kinda have to apologize to Luke, can you come with me?" I ask her.
"Yeah what'd you do?" She asks sitting up.
"I actually just did this less than ten minutes ago. I walked in called him a douche pushed him slightly then walked away. I don't want him to hate me in case me and Cal don't work out. " I say standing up and taking her hand dragging her with me.
"Okay then. " she says as we walk down the hallway.
"Why'd you do that?" She asks me.
"I don't really know, I guess I was just ma- oh hi Michael!" I say as we rounded the corner I completely ran into him.
"Sorry. " I say as I walk passed him.
"Oh wait! Do you know where Luke is?" I ask him.
"Yeah he's in the pool." Michael says back.
"Great. " I say walking down the stairs. We go outside and sure enough he's in the pool, but he's by himself.
"What do you want?" He asks me.
"Uh I just came to say I'm sorry about what happened about five minutes ago. I was in a bad mood. " I say sitting at the edge of the pool. He swims over to where I am and rests his arms and head on the concrete.
"Really? I would've thought you would've been happy to be going on a date with Calum. " Luke says rudely.
"How'd you know?" I ask confused.
"I'm not an idiot. " he says back.
"I know you're not. But why are you being so rude about it?" I say slightly scooting away from the edge.
"Oh don't play stupid. " he says annoyed.
"I'm not playing stupid. Why are you acting like this? I mean at first I thought you might actually like me, but then I walk in and you and some girl are naked. Seriously? What's your problem?" I ask getting closer to the edge of the pool.
"God sometimes you're such an idiot. " Luke says right before he kisses me. I pulled back the minute it started.
"What the fuck, Luke?" I ask getting annoyed. I stand up and walk inside.
"What just happened?" Lauren asks me the minute I walk in.
"I don't know. " I say walking back up the stairs. I start to walk down the hallway and spot Calum. Great, just the person I wanna see.
"Hey Sydney. " he says.
"Hi Cal. " I say nervously after what just happened.
"I'm getting excited about tonight. And I would stay and chat but I'm actually getting ready to go somewhere important for band stuff. I'll see you later though. " he says flashing his smile and walking away.
"He's too good for you. " Lauren says as we enter our room.
"I know. I'm still confused over what happened at the pool. I'm really confused. First Luke acts like he hates me and now he's kissing me. What's gotten into him?" I ask not to anyone indirectly.
"Well maybe puberty just hit him and he doesn't know how to express his feelings. " Lauren says. I just burst out laughing.
"Don't ever say that again!" I say laughing.
"Okay, then maybe he's just jealous. " Lauren throws out.
"Maybe, but I hate it when guys do that. They make everything a big deal and then it's like you want nothing to do with them. That or they turn into complete jerks. Guys are weird. " I say falling back into my bed.
"Calum's not. " Lauren said awfully daydreamish.
"You'll find out when you date one. " I say pulling out my phone.
"You've dated before?" Lauren asks wide eyed.
"Uh yeah. His name was Isaac. He was all cute and nice and funny at the beginning but then he got jealous so I dumped him. " I said finding a cute picture of us and showing it to her.
"Uh are you sure that's not Niall from one direction?" She asks me.
"I know right, I thought I was the only one that saw that. " I said laughing.

Before I knew it, the campfire had passed and it was time for mine and Calums date. I was wearing a nice V-neck white shirt with black jeans, black chuck  Taylor's, and a daisy flower crown. I walked down to the dock and met calum.
"Hi. " I said happily.
"Hey, you look really nice. " Calum said as we hugged. In front of us on a dock was a boat, Calum turned to get into the boat so I looked over my shoulder and saw Luke standing in a near by window. I knew he could see me so while Calum was turned around I flicked him off.
"Oh my god, you're perfect. " Calum said to me.
"What?" I said confused.
"I flick him off every second of every day. " Calum laughed as we stepped into the boat.
"Wait, you knew he was watching us?" I asked confused.
"Yeah, he gets jealous way to easy. " Calum said as we started leaving the docks on the boat.

"You're funny, Cal." I said laughing at something he had said.
"Well, we're here. " he said standing up and getting out of the boat.
"The forest?" I asked.
"Sort of. " he says as he takes my hand. He leads me through a couple of turns before we finally stop in front of a Tree House.
