Chapter 23

Sydney's POV:
It's been a week since I went to that concert. Calum and Mia are actually a thing and they're pretty cute. They bring out the best in each other. I still haven't given Luke what he's been wanting but I have a plan that'll make sure it eventually happens. Honestly, this has been the best summer. I've made new friends, and had great experiences with everyone. Well most everyone. The boys aren't here today, they went to an interview about their new album. They've been running a lot of websites too, lately. Ashton is really overwhelmed but he's also enjoying everything about it.

    "Sydney?!" Mia shouted waving her hand over my face.

    "I'm sorry what?" We've been talking for half an hour now and all I can think about is everything but what we're talking about.

    "I was just saying how Calum really wants us all to go on a double date. He wants to prove to Luke he's changed. Whatever that means. " I ha told Luke I told Mia but I actually hadn't. I can need think of the right words I mean your boyfriend lured me in and raped me doesn't sound good.

    "Oh, yeah sure how's tonight work?" I said realizing the boys will be back by then.

    "Great, I'll text him. " she said happily walking out of the room.

    "Wait. Mia come back. " I said turning the tv on. She came back and I flipped through the channels till I found what I was looking for.

    "The reason Calums doing this is because he wanted to prove to Luke and I he's changed, right?" I said nodding toward her to answer.

    "Yeah, but I have no clue what that means. " she said.

   "I thought we went over this. " she added.

   "Right, we have. I just wanted to explain to you what happened. So there was some tension in the house around the second or third week and Calum had well..... This show sums it up. " I said turning on Law and Order: SVU.

   "Oh. My. God. I- he- what?!" She said angrily.

    "Mia calm down, he has changed, okay? Don't worry about it. " I said trying to calm her down.

    "I hope he's changed. " she said walking away and out the door.

     "Luke, please? Calum wants to make up what he did to us. I think it'll be fine. " I said wrapping my arms around his neck. The boys just returned about two hours ago.

     "I really don't want to, but I will for you. " he said placing a quick kiss on my lips and walking away.

    We each got ready and met Calum and Mia downstairs.

    "Listen, I wanted this to be a fun night so we're going to a club!" Calum said a little too excitedly.

   "This is the part where you all say oh Calum that sounds like a lot of fun!" Calum mimicked.

    "Whatever, let's just go. " Luke said taking my hand and leading me to the car.

   We've been at this club forever and it's officially 2 in the morning. Finally, we are leaving. Everyone was really drunk. You could smell the alcohol from a mile away. We somehow managed to come home in one piece and that's when things escalate. Mia and Calum ran straight upstairs to do god knows what while me and Luke walked upstairs as well. Luke tried some stuff but, like I said, I have a plan. Besides he's drunk and I wanna remember tonight and I can't do that if I'm drunk too.

    Somehow I managed to push Luke off find a quiet room, by myself.

    "Hey Ashton?" I said but it came out as more of a slur.

    "Hey what?" He called, so I opened the door and sat on his bed.

    "Do you mind if I sleep here tonight? My room is occupied and Luke is just really in a mood. " I said as he sat next to me.

    "Yeah it's fine. I'll take the floor. " he said getting a blanket and pillow from the cupboard.

    "Thanks, Ashton. " I said hugging him.

    "No problem. "

It feels like everything just keeps getting more and more boring. It's like the closer I get to the end of summer the more nothing seems to happen. I have one day left here. One day of summer. Isaac finally left with some girl. Mia went home and Calums already flown back. So has Michael, and Ashton. The girls went home yesterday which just left me and Luke alone in a giant house. I guess we all know where that led to. All in all my plan basically worked itself out.

     "I love you. " I said looking back over to Luke.

     "I love you too. " he said kissing me once more. I got up and took a quick shower, making sure to pack everything up.

    "Luke! I need your help!" I called once I had attempted to finish packing all of my clothes.

   "Yes? What do you need?!" He said running in the room and looking around.

    "I can't fit this in here. " I said holding up my 5sos shirt.

   "Bullshit. " he said laughing. He took the shirt and managed to fit it in my overflowing suitcase. The day had surprisingly gone by pretty quick. But I guess time'll do that to you if you've watched a couple of movies and had some fun. Tomorrow I leave.
