Chapter 13

Sydney's POV:
After Luke said that, I got turned to him.
"Did you leave me that note?" I asked with my eyebrows raised. Part of me really wanted him to say yes but the other half of me thought if he did that would be really really kinda creepy.
"What note? You got a note? When?" He said concerned.
"Never mind, it's not that important. " I said disregarding that information completely. I turned to him and ran my thumb over his lips.
"Did it hurt?" I said as my thumb rested over his lip ring.
"Like hell. But it was worth it, I look so punk rock. " he said smiling.
"Hey Sydney, do you mind taking us to the hospital, actually?" Ashton said from the kitchen.
"Yeah, sure no problem. There's a car in the garage I'll just take that. " I said standing up and walking over to Ashton.
"What car?" He said confused.
"Oh I ran into Calum in the garage and there was definitely a car in there. " I said nodding and walking over to the garage door. I opened it and Ashton and Luke walked over to it as well.
"I've never seen this car before in my life. " Luke said walking over to hit and running his hand over the hood.
"Oh, I thought maybe this was one of your cars. " I said crossing my arms.
"Maybe it's Calum's. Whatever he's the worst at hiding keys. Syd, why don't you go look under that mat over there?" Ashton said holding onto the drivers seat handle.
"Okay." I said walking back to the door, I flipped over the mat and sure enough there was indeed car keys. Wow. I through them at Ashton, he caught them.
"I call shot gun!" I said before Luke could call it.
"Damn it!" Luke said playfully. He climbed in the backseat, barely fitting as Ashton turned on the car.
"Why do you get to ride up front. You're only like 5'2". I'm a freaking giant. " Luke said.
"Then you should've called it. " I said finding the stereo. I flipped it to my favorite radio station. It played a mixture of old, and new music. I personally loved it.
Ashton backed the car out of the driveway and drove to the hospital. I checked the boys in while they waited in the waiting area.
"Thanks. " Ashton said sitting down next to me.
"You guys needed to come in. I mean, Luke's nose is so crooked. " I said dragging out the o in so.
"Shut up. Just be glad that he didn't do the same to you. " Luke said rolling his eyes.

The boys were seen and are all set. We headed home at around 4 o'clock, just in time to see everyone come back from the beach.
Me and Ashton and Luke were all rested on the couch watching Friends when the back foot opened. Everyone piled in the house, looking exhausted they all went upstairs. Except for Michael, Lauren, Calum, and his new girl.
"I'm warning you, he's just using you. The minute you let him in your pants he's gonna leave." I said to her. She just gave me a weird look.
"Don't listen to her, she's just mad 'cause she never got a taste. " he said pulling her into the guest room.
"He's on the next flight home tomorrow, by the way. " Ashton said.
"Good. God, he's such a prick. " Lauren said.
"I think everyone will be a lot happier without him here. " Michael said putting his arm around Lauren. I rested my head on Luke's shoulder, my mind completely slipping about our 'agreement'. It didn't matter, I don't think he minded anyway.
"Awe it was bound to happen eventually. " Michael said from the other couch.
"I've had a long day, I think I'm just gonna go to bed. " Ashton said awkwardly leaving.
"Okay, see you tomorrow Ash. " I said as he began walking up the stairs.
"Oh and Michael, we're just friends. " Luke said.
"Just friends my ass." He muttered.
"I heard that!" I said laughing.
"Besides why do you care so much? What're you and Lauren?" I asked Michael.
"Well, I don't know what we are actually." He said looking down at Lauren.
"Why do you wanna be?" He said smiling at her.
"With you. " she said smiling.
"So I guess to answer your question, we're together. " Michael said smiling.
"Your turn!" He said to us.
"Not happening Michael. We're just, not ready to be in a relationship. He wants to be in one and I don't think I wanna be in one. " I answered.
"That's okay. You'll know when your ready. " Lauren said from under Michael's arm.
"Good because this is confusing. " I said standing up.
"I think I'm gonna go to bed too, actually. " I said walking behind the couch.
"Night!" Everyone chorused. Luke stood up and followed me to the stairs. I turned and kissed him goodnight.
"Thanks, for playing along. " I whispered in his ear.
"No problem. " he said smiling. I walked up the stairs and into my room, sitting on my bed. Then there was a knock on the door and another note that read:

Beside you.
You're just a little bit out of my limit.

I still don't know who's sending me these, but at least they aren't bad. I'll always wonder who they're from though. I put this note and the one from last night into my desk drawer, closing it silently behind me.
I walked back over to my bed and fell asleep. Not even noticing someone was in my room.
