Sydney's POV:
It felt nice waking up with someone there. But it didn't feel so nice to see my best friend and Michael making out.
"Ugh, I should've listened to Luke. " I said grabbing my phone. I opened up my messages to see I actually had quite a few from Mia.Mia: hey I just got home like a week ago. I'm really bored. Anyway I could be at the camp with you?
Sydney: yeah I think that would be okay.
"Luke?" I asked quietly.
"Mm." He responded.
"Are you awake?" I said facing him.
"Nope. " he said curling up deeper into his pillow.
"Well maybe I can fix that. " I said as I saw the smirk appear on his face. I kissed his forehead and sat up.
"Okay, now I'm up. " he said getting out of bed. I followed him downstairs and into the kitchen.
"I wonder what time it is." I said noticing nobody else was downstairs.
"It's.......8:30. " he said checking the time on the oven.
"Oh, well then that makes sense." I sighed walking over to the coffee mugs.
"Do you mind making coffee? I already pulled out the mugs. I'm just too lazy. " I said sitting at the table.
"Yeah, whatever. " he said turning on the coffee machine.
"So, how'd you sleep?" I asked as he sat down next to me.
"Pretty good, actually." He said sliding his hand around my waist, pulling me closer to him.
"Oh really?" I said sitting my chin on ha shoulder so I could look into his eyes.
"Mhm. " he said leaning in. I leant in as well but of course the coffee machine beeped ruining whatever just happened.
"Ugh, I hate that stupid thing!" Luke exclaimed getting up and grabbing the mugs.
"I don't. It's the only thing keeping me awake. " I smirked grabbing my mug from his hand.
"Oh please, I'd keep you awake. " he huffed taking a sip of his and sitting next to me.
"Oh really?"
"Mhm. "
"You're adorable, you know that?"
"Yup." He smiled leaning in, I leaned in too. We were so close, yet so far.
"Morning!" Isaac called from the stairs, like always.
"Not the time, Isaac. " I huffed taking Luke's hand as we briskly walked passed him.
"It never is. " he muttered walking into the kitchen. So far everyday this week that's the only communication we've had. Those exact words. Every. Day.
"Actually, I think I'm gonna shower. " Luke said letting go of my hand.
"Okay. See you later, handsome. " I said pressing a quick kiss to his lips before walking back into my room.
"Okay Michael, times up!" I called to the barely clothed boy sitting on my best friends bed.
"Fine. " he huffed and walked into his room.
"God, you two need to just move in together. " I sighed sitting on my bed.
"Actually, I think I will. " she said smiling to herself.
"You say that now. " I smirked taking out my phone. I had a message from Mia so I decided to reply.
Mia: Umm is it okay if I come now?
Sydney: I guess. We're not really doing anything.
I sat my phone on my docking speaker and turned on the radio. Walking over to my closet I began picking out an outfit. Out of no where my music got extremely loud.
"Oh my god! Turn that down, my skull is vibrating!" I yelled. No response. I turned around and saw literally everybody from camp dancing in my room to some song. I'd heard it before but it seems like everyone loved it. I'm pretty sure it's called She's Kinda Hot.
"I love this song!" Lauren screamed.
"I can't believe we're on the actual fucking radio!" Michael yelled.
Hm must be one of their songs. The song ended and everyone left, leaving me in my now empty room listening to Stitches by Shawn Mendes. Not a bad song actually.
I grabbed a classic outfit. A simple Blink-182 shirt, a red flannel, and some black shorts. To top it all off I had worn a pare of black on black converse high tops. I left my hair down and out on a black beanie.
The song changed to Drag Me Down by One Direction. I'm not gonna lie, I love this song. A lot. I began bursting out the lyrics like a crazy person, that is until I was rudely interrupted.
"Not a directioner, my ass. " Luke said leaning against my door frame in nothing but black skinny jeans.
"Shut up. This song is good and you know it. " I said walking over to him.
"Sure. I'll give you that. "
"It's good, you just don't wanna admit it. " I said completely invading his personal space.
"It's okay. What's good is your outfit." He said slinking his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him.
"I though id take a break from my usual Nirvana and Green Day look. " I smiled.
"I'm glad you did, blink's pretty good too. " he said resting his forehead against mine.
"Yeah I'm really Feeling This." I smirked playfully making a song reference.
"Shut up." He shot back at me, again making a song reference.
"You should really get dressed. " I whispered.
"But this is fun. " he said leaning closer to me.
"Yeah, fun for me. " I said pushing him away.
"Stop being such a tease and kiss me!" He exclaimed running back over to me.
"I will once you get dressed. " I said sending him away from me.
"Fine. " he responded grabbing the Sum 41 shirt Michael left behind, and putting it on.
"There. I'm dressed. " he said raising his eyebrows.
"Well, I guess you are." I smiled as I noticed something in the corner of my eye.
"Exactly. " he said inching closer to me. I rested my arms around his neck as he sat his on my hips.
"Finally. " he said leaning in.
"Sorry. " I whispered in his ear pulling away from our position entirely.
"I'm sorry, Mia just arrived. I gotta greet her, I'll make it up to you tonight though. " I said winking at him and leaving the dumbfounded boy standing in the middle of my room.
