Derp Camp

Chapter 7

Sydney's POV:
"Cal, this looks amazing!" I say as we reach the top of the tree house.
"Isn't it? None of the other boys know about this place. It's where I go to escape everyone. " Calum says as we enter.
"So basically it's yours? Are you the one that decorated it as well?" I say looking around at all the fairy lights.
"Yes it is mine, and yeah I decorated it." He says blushing a bit.
"It's so pretty. " I say taking a seat on the floor.
"I love it here. And the best part is this." He says pushing open a door on the ceiling reveling a beautiful night sky.
"Wow. " I say as he sits next to me. As cliche as it sounds and looks Calum set up a really nice picnic.
"So, shall we eat?" He asks flipping the pizza box top open.
"We shall. " I say giggling.
"So, tell me about you. " he says taking a bite of his pizza.
"What do you wanna know?" I ask taking a bite of mine.
"What brought you here? It's obvious you're not a fan. " he says taking another bite.
"Um it's kinda hard to explain. A couple years back I dealt with a bad relationship ending in a bad breakup. I kinda just got really depressed, so I turned to music. And I just became fascinated with rock bands and alternative bands, I guess you could say, so when my mom heard a rock band was hosting a camp she signed me up." I say taking a sip of the water in front of me.
"Wow, I so wasn't expecting a sad story like that. " he says taking another bite of pizza.
"Well, it's the truth. What about you?" I ask taking another sip of water.
"What about me?" He asks.
"How'd this band start?" I ask looking dead in his eyes.
"Story time!" He says clapping his hands together and straightening up his posture.

"Ha! I can't believe you guys get away with that. " I say laughing. Calum and I have been talking for an hour and he's actually really interesting to talk to. Nothing feels awkward or forced.
"We get away with a lot, surprisingly." Cal says.
"It must be fun. Being able to travel the world, doing what you love, especially with your friends. Sounds like a dream to me. " I say laying back to look at the stars.
"It's nice, but it isn't as much fun as you think it is. I mean, we leave our families for months and never see or talk to them because of our busy schedule. Sure we have each other but we get homesick. This camp is a tradition it's the one time we can connect to what we've done. Our progress. We get to spend time with our new family. " he says laying back with me.
"What do you mean, your new family?" I ask confused.
"We consider the 5SOS fam our family." He says subtly taking my hand.
"Oh, I wish other bands did that. You guys have a connection with your fans no other band has. " I say turning my head to look at him.
"Yeah, you could say that. " he says dropping my gaze to look at the stars.
"It's beautiful. " I say looking at the sky as well.
"Isn't it? But it'll never be as beautiful as you. " he says looking at me.
"Where'd you get that one? The fault in our stars?" I say sarcastically and sit up.
"No, I mean it. " he says sitting up as well.
"Why do you like me?" I ask bluntly.
"You're different from the others. A good different. " he says leaning in.
"Well I sure as hell hope it's a good different. " I say laughing and leaning in to. Before I knew it our lips connected. It was a slow kiss and at first he pulled back.
"What's wrong?" I ask as he pulled back.
"Am I taking this too fast? I don't wanna rush anything. " he says looking at me.
"No Calum. Your not going too fast, if anything we're going to slow. " I say getting closer to him.
"Is this fast enough for you?" He asks smirking as he begins kissing down my neck.
"Nope. " I giggle.
"What's it gonna take?" He asks getting closer and closer to my collarbone.
"Don't be shy. " I say smirking as I lay down. He repositions himself so he's hovering over me.
"Definitely a good different. " he says smiling before he reconnects his lips with mine.

Time passes and me and Calum are basically about to have sex. We're both down to our underwear.
"Are you sure this isn't too fast for you?" He asks me.
"No, is it for you?" I ask smiling and biting my lip.
"No. I actually think I'm enjoying this way too much. " he says smiling.
"See, fast is good. " I say smiling.
"Oh I get it, you like it fast. " he says laughing.
"Shut up I didn't mean it like that. " I say blushing. I never really noticed how perfect Calum was. He was nice and tan, with gorgeous brown eyes. I could get lost in them forever. His hair was amazing, and his smile instantly made me smile. I have no clue why but I started laughing.
"Why're you laughing?" He asks confused.
"I honestly have no idea. " I say laughing some more.
"Your so cute. " he says before he kisses me again, each kiss a bit more intense. I'll admit I was a little nervous.
"I thought you had a rule, no hooking up with fans remember?" I ask breaking the kiss.
"I think I can break it, plus who ever said you were a fan?" He asks smirking.
"You've got a point. " I say smiling right before I kiss him again.
"Oh no you don't!" I heard someone shout from the door. Cal and I instantly shot up.
"What the hell do you want?" Calum asked Luke.
"I came to check on you guys because you've been gone for almost four hours." Luke says crossing his arms.
"So, do you have a curfew for us?" I ask throwing my shirt back on as well as my jeans.
"No, but-"
"Then why do you care?" I ask walking over to him as Calum got dressed.
"I,I-"
"That's what I thought. Excuse me, I've got a room to get back to. " I say walking past him and down the latter. I decide to just run through the forest to get back to the house. I reach the house and run into my room, slamming the door behind me.
"What happened to you? On second thought don't tell me. You have sex hair. I should've known. " Lauren says from her bed.
"Well it would've happened if Luke wouldn't have ruined our date." I say sitting down on my bed.
"No way!" She says completely shocked.
"Yeah. It was about to loose my V card when he walks in and stops everything. God, he's such a ruiner. " I say laying down in my bed.
"I think he's jealous." Lauren says sitting next to me.
"Why would he be jealous? He just fucked some girl last night. " I say looking at her.
"Some guys are like that. They lead you on then break your heart. " she says.
There was a knock on the door.
"Come in!" Lauren called. The door opened revealing Calum. I instantly sat up.
"I just came to apologize about our date." He says sitting next to me.
"Its fine. Maybe it was for the best."I say weakly smiling.
"Yeah maybe it was. " he says.
" I guess we were really rushing it. We just met like yesterday. " I say laughing.
"I know, but it feels like we've known each other a lot longer. " he says laughing with me.
"Listen, I've gotta go but I'll see you tomorrow. " Calum says kissing me and leaving.
"Wow. Talk about a dramatic day. " Lauren says getting into her bed. I did the same and fell asleep.
