Mackenzie

I discarded all my bags the minute I entered the house. I walked over to the living room and flopped onto the couch. I kicked off my shoes.

After a riveting day with the boys, running and crawling around to ambush them. Then going to the mall with Isabella, Rosie, Tony and Jayden; Isabella wanted to go into every single store dragging Rosie and I with her. Did I mention Isabella loves shopping?

After an evening Isabella running her mouth of One Direction and the mystery girl, Rosie spending time with Tony, and Jayden asking why I had a boy hoodie on. I had practically spent most of the time with them lying to their faces. Rosie had noticed and but hadn't said anything. She was momentarily talking with Tony outside.

"Aaaaaahhhh!" Oh crap! Sophie! I got up from the couch and instinct took over me. I took whatever was at hand, which was only a remote and rushed up the stairs to Sophie's room. I ran into her room and swung the door open.

"Sophie? Sophie, what happened?" I asked. Sophie's back was towards me, she was staring at something on her bed. I walked towards her, my hand still clutching onto the remote just in case. I touched her shoulder. She turned around. I couldn't puzzle out her expression. Then she spontaneously wrapped her arms around my waist. I was confused but nonetheless I returned the embrace.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you," she squealed into me.

"For what?" I was very confused. She let go of me and grabbed a thing off her bed. I didn't recognize what she was showing me until she practically shoved it at my face. Which made me laugh because she was so tiny and she had to jump to show me.

"Oh. Well, I'm sorry that I lost the first one," I said. I rubbed my neck. It was a bit embarrassing that she had given me her cd for me to take care of it and I had lost it. The irony.

"I loved this one more. They wrote to me," Sophie said. I nodded. She probably couldn't read everything on it.

"Yeah they did," I said. She smiled. I owed those boys for making my sisters day. She hadn't smile like that since the last time mother came home from a business trip.

"So you really like this one," I asked. She nodded, with a wide smiled.

"Well go ahead and listen to it. I'm tired. I think I'm going to head off to my room if you need me," I said. I began walking out her room when she asked.

"Okay. Why do you have a remote in your hand?" I looked down at my hand.

"Oh. I thought you were in trouble or something," I said a bit embarrassed.

"Oh, sorry." I shrugged it off. I walked out of her room not before hearing 5 familiar boys voices playing in her room.

I walked towards my room at the end of the hall, opened my door and lazily walked towards my bed. The adrenaline wore off and all the exhaustion came back to me and I flopped onto my bed. I was tired. I closed my eyes and let my mind wander off. Finally, time for me to relax. I spoke too early. I felt my bed sink next to me. I didn't bother to open my eyes, I just turned away.

"Don't you dare turn your back towards me," the voice said.

"I'm tired. Let me sleep a bit more," I mumbled. My bed lifted a bit under me. She must have left. I was wrong. I felt something wet drip on my face.

"If you don't get up, I will pour this all over you," with that I got up groggily. I opened my eyes to see Rosie standing in front of me, water bottle at hand and the other hand on her hip. She was mad. Oh, oh.

"I'm up, I'm up," I said. Her hazel eyes just stare at me, she finally sighed and her anger dissipated. She took a seat next to me.

"So are you going to tell me?" Rosie just looked down at me, straight in the eye. Her hazel eyes were almost a spitting image of mine. Except mine had blue and grey flecks in them. Her eyes took more of a brown tone because of her tan complexion.

"Tell you what?" I said. She went serious.

"I don't know maybe why you're wearing a hoodie that I practically sure is not yours or why you don't plan on telling Isabella or Jayden that your rich," Rosie said. I sighed, the whole thing with me being rich was old. I thought she would get over it.

"I got wet and I couldn't come to see you in a wet shirt so I wore the hoodie," I said. I wasn't lying right? She looked at me, ugh, why did I even bother, she knew me too well.

"I went to play a prank on some boys I met yesterday. After I played the prank on them we played with water guns and I got wet. One of the boys nicely lent me their hoodie," I said. Rosie nodded.

"Oh. So the Tony thing was a cover up," Rosie asked. I saw her cheeks turn a slight bit of pink. Ah, so that's what she wanted to know.

"Rosie, I have a boyfriend. I love Jayden you of all people would know. Tony was just doing me the favor of taking me out of school," I smiled. She was jealous. She so liked Tony.

"I was only asking- forget it," she looked at me and saw my smile. She just frowned. Ha, ha.

"Why don't you tell Tony you like him?" I asked. Rosie blushed.

"I do not," Rosie said a bit too fast.

"Sure you don't, so you won't mind if Jessica were to ask him-" I didn't get to finish.

"Oh, alright. You got me, but stop changing the conversation. When are you planning to tell Jayden and Isabella that you're rich," Rosie said. I looked at her. She waited for an answer.

"I will soon," I said. I was planning on telling them but I didn't know how.

"Why did you never tell them?" Rosie raised an eyebrow. This again.

"Because I wanted real friends and a real boyfriend. Not someone who just wanted my friendship in exchange for money," I said. She looked at me sympathetically.

"Oh." She moved closer and placed her arm around my shoulder.

"Well, Jayden is rich too." Rosie said.

"Yeah, well you don't find people like him around. Usually they're stuck up like Nick." I said. She chuckled.

"Yeah. I see your point. But you would have thought Jayden would at least know. You know because of networking and stuff," Rosie said.

"He never asked before." I said.

"Oh."

"Well, now let's go back to you, why don't you go out with Tony?" I asked. She blushed.

"Ummm- look at the time it's time for dinner," Rosie got up and tried to walk away. Oh no she didn't. She didn't expect me to just let it all out and get away with it.

"Oh no you don't. Now tell me, why?" I yank her back onto my bed. She sighs. This was just getting interesting.
