When I came out the bathroom. I saw Kenzie on the sitting on the floor next to the door. My heart hurt for her. Why was she hurt? What happened? I used my vampire speed and sat next to her.

"Kenzie, are you okay?" I whispered into her ear. I placed my arm over her shoulders and she laid her head on my chest. I wanted right there for time to stop. To treasure this moment with her. I hoped she couldn't hear my heart beating. Because I could hear my heart beat fast and loud.

"Yeah. Just a big night. Tired." She had lied. I heard her heart skip a beat. She wasn't tired. She was hurt but she wouldn't tell me. I understood. She barely knew me. But I felt like I had known her for years. I hurt for her. I looked at her and saw some pants, a towel, trousers and a shirt.

"Are those my clothes?" I asked her. She nodded. Whatever was on her mind was bothering her. I wanted so badly to make her feel better.

"Kenzie, I think you should go take a shower and relax. Then you can go to sleep. You'll let out all the stress you have bottled up. Trust me."

"Okay." She got up and helped me get up. She walked towards the star painted door walked in and came out with clothes. She walked slowly towards the bathroom. What could I do to make her smile? She was about to close the door when I thought of something to say.

"Kenzie. You should smile more often. It brightens your eyes and your smile makes you more beautiful." She closed the door, but I knew that what I had said made her smile. I took the clothes Kenzie had gotten me and put them on.

I laid on the right side of her bed. She had come out of the bathroom and tiredly walked towards her bed, got under the covers and went to sleep on the other side of the bed. She went to sleep so soundly. I turned around and just watched her sleep.

It was all so different sleeping next to her. She turned around and shifted a bit. She moved closer to me. Then she stopped moving. She was just arms length away from me. Minutes passed and she moved closer and closer. It was like some invisible force in me was calling her. Attracting her to me. She moved closer. Her head got comfortable in the crook of my neck. She looked so calm. Sleep actually came to me this time. And she actually made it better. There was no dreams of her or voices. She was the solution. Kenzie was my solution.
