Niall
"Kenzie, Kenzie please come out of there," Harry knocked on the door despite the fact he could just break the door of its hinges. We knew what the limit was, most of the time. The fact that Harry had knocked and had gotten no response was making me anxious.
"Kenzie, we know you're in there," Liam pushed through us and came face to face with the door, "If you let us explain, and prove that your thoughts are wrong." Thoughts?
"My thoughts?," Kenzie asked, voice barely a whisper.
"Her thoughts?," the rest of repeated. Liam ignored our confused expressions and question. He waited for any side of movement from behind the door. He huffed and walked towards the living room when he received one. I was both relieved and angered at that moment. What the hell did he mean her thoughts? I was relieved because Kenzie hadn't let herself be convince by Liam to come out.
I let my anger direct my next move and I wasn't the only one because the rest of the lads hesitantly walked away from the locked door. I dashed out ready to get some answers of my own but once I reached there Zayn had Liam by his collar against one of the side tables, vase crashing onto the floor.
"What the hell do you mean you can read her thoughts?" Zayn enraged. He kept a strong hold on Liam. Liam tried to pry him off but it wasn't working. Zayn's anger was fueling his strength.
Zayn waited for an answer. Louis in spite of being irated reasoned and pulled Zayn of Liam. Liam tried to compose himself but it was futile.
"This was all your sodding fault! She would have never found out," Harry grabbed Liam threw him across the room. Liam's back hit the wall and the frames fell, "if you hadn't suggested bringing in take out." Harry hand clenched aiming for Liam, Louis held Harry's fist from coming in contact with Liam's face. Harry was ready to take it out on Louis but he let it go walking away towards Zayn.
"Thanks Louis." Liam uttered. Louis just stared blankly at Liam.
"Don't." Louis said bluntly walking away fist in his pockets. He walked back towards the locked door, he was containing himself. I was only containing myself until I got my answer.
"I thought that I could facilitate things," Liam began, taking a seat on the couch like if everything were okay, "I was getting good at handling her thoughts-" I couldn't listen to all the crap coming out of Liam's mouth. I went at him.
"Why in the hell are you even in her thoughts. That's invading her privacy you arse," I jumped him throwing both of use back with couch. The couch cracked with all the force.
"I never thought you'd ever do that. It was low for even you Liam," I grabbed him by his shirt. Liam looked frightened. Hell in way he should be. He was my best mate but who I was holding by the shirt wasn't him.
"Look what your bloody thoughts got us into," I spatted and pushed him off. Zayn and Harry both appeared at my sides staring at the other being who asked us to trust him with anything new that happened to us. While he wandered around Kenzie's head reading her thoughts and never once mentioned to us that he could do so.
Everything was quiet as we each glanced between Liam and each other.
"Kenzie, please let us in. Let me in," Louis' voice my ears registered knocking on the door, pleading Kenzie to let him in. How I wished she let him in, "I won't hurt you." Louis continued to knock on the door.
Louis stopped knocking and we all turned to hear if Kenzie made any movement.
"Kenzie, just please say something so we know you're okay," Louis like all of us just wanted to at least hear the sound of her voice. We needed to hear her. I could hear her heart beating fast, she felt endangered.
