Zayn

"I don't know how does the whole sugar rush works, but I know for sure this isn't quite right," Harry said as we walked back towards our tour bus. After a good time spent inside the restaurant, if we weren't well of we would all be broke, we managed to fill our human appetites.

"Yeah tell that to her," Niall teased an asleep Kenzie in my arms. We all smiled, she would be the only one to be able to sleep like she hadn't had a piece of chocolate. The effort we pulled as "humans" to bring her back to the tour bus. Liam had insisted we take a detour after we came out of the restaurant to a chocolate shop nearby. Kenzie became ecstatic at the mention of it and partnered with Liam and practically begged us to take her. That should have been a clue to us that chocolate my dear friend isn't any good, especially at the hands of Kenzie.

"I still can't believe we took her to a chocolate shop. At first I thought she was just being a girl and being in love with chocolate. But the minute she took a bite of one, it was like we got hit by the energizer bunny," Louis said wiped. Louis had ended up with the job just like the rest of us in trying to catch Kenzie. She had ended buying two days worth of chocolate and inhaling them away. We had just chuckled and teased her for it. Yet, like if she were some firework, something sparked in her and her face had brightened up.

"Next time Liam, we'll double think about going to a chocolate shop with Kenzie," Louis said and Liam nodded.

"I never thought Kenzie had so much energy in her. She practically made you look like an angel, Louis," Liam teased. Louis mocked Liam and we all laughed. Kenzie was everywhere. She decided that the chocolate she had eaten wasn't enough and bought more. She ran everywhere after her so called small transaction, we couldn't exactly expose ourselves and we had to get her powerless. Louis had finally caught her, I helped him and then she just fell asleep in my arms.

"Imagined if you just gave her a piece of it while she has a game, she'd literally be unstoppable," Niall said randomly. I thought about that for a second. Athlete prodigy and with sugar, damn, she would be a threat.

"I think the chocolate did take some effect on her, probably all the energy she used just to transport herself here must have depleted her, overriding all the sugar high she had," I concluded. I recall Kenzie explaining to us how she had gone through great agony just to get here. She thought she was dying; the pain that came with supernatural events. I would know. Harry would know. Heck with that, we all had suffered in some form.

"Crap! You're right, Zayn," Harry soon came to realize as well. We finally reached the tour bus and the door swooshed open. Louis, Harry, Niall and Liam all piled in. I readjusted Kenzie so she wouldn't get hit by the door and made my way inside.

"Does it really hurt?" Niall asked as he sat down on the couch. I continued to make my way towards my bunk.

"My eyes feel like I didn't have my charm on and I was staring at it and my throat felt like I hadn't had a drink for weeks," Harry explained. Yet, just explaining it wasn't the same as experiencing it at firsthand. It was worse.

"That sounds like shit," Louis said engrossed in the pain Harry tried his best to explain. I slowly came down to place Kenzie on my bunk, making sure not to wake her.

"The pain is unbearable," Harry said.

"Supernatural doesn't sound like fun," Niall said. I tried not to laugh. We were supernatural. Well are.

"You don't know half of it. It's like being in hell itself. Like if a truck came towards you at like 100 miles per hour. Like if lava was being placed on your eyes and creeping its way all around your body, slowly engulfing you in pain until you can no longer sustain it and pass out," I heard a whisper. Everything got quiet. I looked down and Kenzie's eyes were struggling to stay open. I smiled at her effort as I hid the anger the boiled in me for not being able to be there to protect her from it. For being the cause of it.
