Masons POV

Early this morning my dad called for me and Rachel to meet him in his office. Do now we were all sitting here in an awkward silence,

'So are you going to say anything....?'

'Oh sorry son, I have been meaning to tell you this for a very very long time, you see you have a twin brother your not identical, or anything alike. You were both great sons, but at the age of 16 your brother did something, something which would of brought shame on our family, On the pack so We made the big decision to put him up for adoption. He was never adopted and had to live and fend for himself, when he shifted for the first time he was taken and put into the starline pack, the worst pack. filled with rebellious, dangerous wolves. He has done nothing but cause trouble since and we hoped we would never have to bring him up again, that's why we erased your memory, but he is back and you probably have already met him....'

'What did he do that was bad dad?'

'He had a relationship with one of the older she-wolfs in the pack....she was told to leave as well...'

'So he's come for revenge on you and mum?'

'No son....he's come to revenge on you...I have all the guards trying to capture him. We need answers'

'What have I done!?'

'That's what we want to find out'

'Ok so what should we do?'

'You need to keep Rachel with you at all times!'

'He already does that'

I only then remembered she was holding my hand and the fear in her eyes...it made me angry, no one makes my mate sad! She doesn't deserve that!

'What did he do that was so bad?'

'Years ago we had enemies, it was the Wood Pine Pack. Your brother snapped one day and killed there alpha....I don't know how he did it but there were witnesses from both packs and I couldn't risk him going and killing more people. But we didn't have the time to watch him 24/7 so we chose the easy option....you probably think I'm a horrible person and if that happend now no one would take any notice but back then it was keep your pack in line or have them all be killed by the elders.....and I was protecting you and your mother'

'I understand why you did it dad, I'm not mad and if I had been killed that I wouldn't have met my beautiful mate...'

I leand over and kissed Rachel's soft lips, trying to take her mind of of all the drama. Then another questions came to my mind....

'So who's my brother?'

'Brodie Pellet'
