'So the doctor said you had powers..'

'Well I don't feel any different...other than my looks. Why?'

We were sitting in his lounge room just cuddling when a loud grumble cam from my stomach.

'Do you have and food?'

'Nope sorry beautiful'

I was at the shops buying food because you can only have take away for so long...

And mason has this huge house but no food in it so now I'm stuck buying all the food.

I grabbed anything that looked good and put it in the cart, that's the good thing about my dads business. I have a card that my dad puts money in every week so shopping is always fun for me

Finally I finished! I love clothes shopping. Any kind of shopping but I HATE food shopping! You get hungry and end up buying the hole shop....which is so annoying.

'That comes to $135.75 thank you'

The young girl looked about 15 but she could just be short. I placed the money in her hand and felt an electric currant shoot down my arm, the girl jumped back and gasped looking at me like she had seen a ghost, I don't blame her. If I was electrocuted by a chick with purple and gold eyes I'd be a bit freaked to, I stared at my arm. Well mason will be happy to know what my power was... I apologised to the young girl and rushed out the store with arms full of bags.

I can't stop thinking about it! I could hurt someone, I could be revealed to the humans. That would not end well.

'Hey beautiful'

Mason burrows his head in my neck

'Babe are you ok? What's wrong?'

'I know what my power is..'

'Really! That's great! What is it? Can you move water. Control people'

'I electrocuted a girl at the store...'

'Well that's mean babe did u apologise?'

'You dumb ass it was an accident! Of coarse I apologised. And why would I go around electrocuting people?'

'What, that's AWSOME! Babe that's going to be a huge advantage on our pack, now we can defeat anyone'

'I guess'

'Babe dont be so sad, come to bed I bet I could cheer you up...'

I giggled and kissed his lips, tangling my fingers in his hair. He wrapped his arms around my waist and sighed

'I still can't believe I get to do this whenever I want....I love you'

'I love you to babe'

Our moment was rudely interrupted by the front door opening, who's that..I walk down the stairs mason protectively holding my waist.

And there stood the two people I had forgotten all about for the past two weeks.

'Mum, dad! Where have you been? It's been two weeks!'

'Honey we sent you texts'

She looked over my shoulder and smirked.

'But you've been....busy'

My dad had a content smile on his face, he always wanted me to love someone like he loved mum. And now I understood why.

'I'm so happy for you kido!'

He walked up to mason and put his hand out,

'I hope you make my daughter happy, and it was nice meeting you'

Mason firmly shook his hand and put it straight back an my waist.

'You to sir. And I love your daughter very much'

He kissed the top of my head and rubbed circles on the skin my shirt wasn't covering,

My dad sight a happy smile but when I looked up I saw something in my dads eyes, something's happened and he's not telling me, that's weird...

My dad and I have been close since I was born, he taught me everything I know and has been there every time something bad has happened to me. I remember him telling me stories when I was little, stories about Santa and the Easter bunny, those are the best memories, and ill tell my kids those stories. My dad would be a great grandad, I can picture him sitting on the couch with a child on each knee telling them the story of Santa's reindeer.

'Rachel, i need to speak to you in the study...'

'Is everything alright?'

He didn't say anything so I just followed him up the long stair case and to the huge study. I was getting worried.

'Kido, your mother and I weren't in america, we were at the hospital....'

'What! Why? You should of told me!'

'Are you going to let me tell you?'

'Yes..'

'I have cancer....'

Oh shit and you thought all the drama was over!

So I know her parents kinda disappered for awhile but rachel and her dad are really close, he was her idol. And I've just gone and ruined it! I'm such a bad person....
