Did you originally have 70 chapters planned?
No, the book was suppose to finish at chapter 50 but I couldn't work out an ending so the chapters kept continuing... ^_^
Lord Keki an ally!?
Lord keki was actually suppose to be an ally all throughout the story and fight his own son during the battle between the Southern land and Western land but it was difficult to make him an ally due to original ideas of Koga joining the battle so instead I turned him into an enemy along with his son. :D
Katio loved Master Inuyasha?
A person did ask if there was a relationship between Kaito the guard and Inuyasha. I may have hinted some feelings from Kaito for Inuyasha but both of them only saw each other as friends.
Taskeshi, Inuyasha first friend?
Originally, Taskeshi was suppose to be Inuyasha's first friend but since Inuyasha was half-demon, the pair only grew to hate each other.
Izayoi
Izayoi was suppose to live until the Inuyasha grew up but I cut her life short to make it for dramatic at the chapter 'Fire and an unexpected visitor'.
Maaya
Maaya was suppose to get killed by Sesshomaru after their last conversation
