Cold. Alone. Nothing but the darkness that surrounded him. His mother was dead, he could smell her death on the wind. Inuyasha spotted a log ahead and ran to it. He climbed in before the sound of rain came pouring down Inuyasha brought his knees to his chest slowly closing his eyes, resting his head on the soft moss. "Pitter patter, Pitter patter" the sound of footsteps woke him and he tried to bury himself deeper in the log, a dark shadow loomed over the entrance making the frightened hanyou shiver.
Without any warning, a clawed stripy hand grabbed his leg dragging him into open Inuyasha snarled, baring his teeth as he spun around to face his attacker but instead he stumbled forward, he felt strong arms catch him before bringing him into a tight embrace. He felt hot breath tickling his ear.
He felt something warm yet fuffy wrap around his body. The coldness faded away "Who...are you...."Inuyasha muttered clawing Sesshomaru's tail weakly "Stop fighting, your wasting your energy" Sesshomaru said Inuyasha slightly turned to look at the demon lord "Your...the one from before....who are....you?" Inuyasha asked before letting the warmth take him to sleep.
"I am Sesshomaru, your brother"
As Sesshomaru walked back to the village, he heard Inuyasha muttered something that made him smile "I alway wanted a brother".
