“Lord Sesshomaru!” Hayate’s voice made Sesshomaru turn around slightly. “There too many of them” the advisor murmured. Sesshomaru growled with anger. “Fight harder” Sesshomaru snapped. They couldn’t fall now, he wouldn’t allow it!
CRASH! The glass window shattered into million pieces as a figure came jumping through. The scent was familiar to Sesshomaru’s scents. “That wolf...” Sesshomaru muttered.
“Oi! Heard you ran into some trouble”Koga smirked before looking around the room. “Or more like trouble came to you” Koga chuckled, and then his blue eyes fell onto the unconscious Inuyasha. “WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PUP!!? Koga screeched, lunging towards the daiyokai. Jumping back from the wolf’s fury, Sesshomaru growled loudly. “Just be graceful I haven’t ’ripped your head off for attacking me” Sesshomaru snarled. The two demons glared at each other hatefully. “You two are always fighting” a voice whispered tiredly. Looking down, Sesshomaru slightly smiled when he found himself staring into two golden eyes.
“Hey pup! Are you ok?” Koga queried, stepping forward warily. Inuyasha’s head popped up, his eyes widen in surprise, ears twitching. “What are you doing here Koga?” hanyou tried to get out of Sesshomaru’s arms but the hold around him tightened.
“I’m just going say hello” Inuyasha said, looking up at the daiyokai with puppy eyes. Sesshomaru growled. “I don’t want that wolf’s scent all over you” Sesshomaru said, eying Koga with unhidden hatred. The hanyou sighed in submission, “You can be so fussy sometimes you that right?” Inuyasha muttered. Sesshomaru smiled, nestling his face into Inuyasha’s neck.
“Hey, you know I’m still here” Koga’s voice interrupted. The two brothers quickly gave Koga an irritated glance before slowly pulling away. “It’s a shame the wolf is still standing, I was really hoping he would be dead by now” Sesshomaru muttered darkly. “I heard that!” a fuming wolf countered. Inuyasha could only roll his eyes. He always knew the two wouldn’t get along.
Slash! Another pair of Southern soldiers fell to the ground. “I’m kind of glad that Koga and his tribe have come along, now there’s less soldiers to fight” Inuyasha commented punching a soldier in the eye. His reply was only a faint snort.
Suddenly, Koga was beside him. “Hey pup!” Koga smirked, earning a growl from Sesshomaru. “Please don’t call that me Koga” Inuyasha said, blushing faintly. “Is that cold, bastard still been tough on you? If you’re sick of him, you can always come with me” Koga suggested, tail wagging. On the other side, Sesshomaru was nearly ready to tear the wolf in half. He didn’t care if the wolf was an ally or not, no one takes Inuyasha away from him. They would have to kill him first.
Sensing the rising anger from his mate, Inuyasha stepped back, shaking his head. Koga heaved a sigh, he knew what the answer was going to be. “I’m sorry Koga but I can’t be your mate…..” Inuyasha whispered. “But we can still be friends”. “Yeah” Koga replied before the bringing Inuyasha into a friend-like hug.
The Co-leader of the Southern soldiers watched with dismay as his fighters once by once fell to their demise. “You are Outnumbered” a deep, cold voice spoke from behind. The Co-leader spun around, eyes narrowed. “I won’t believe it until I see Akako’s head myself!” the co-leader spat. “Is that so?” Sesshomaru said, with a click of his finger two soldiers came walking in. In their hands was Akako’s head.
The fighting stopped. Gaps and cries came from crowd. “You have seen the proof of your lord’s death, now be gone before I decided to tear all your heads off!” Sesshomaru roared, eyes flashing red.
The Southern guards backed away before running away like cowards. “RETREAT!!!” the order came. But the co-leader wasn’t so lucky. He gasped as a pale, clawed hand wrapped around his throat, squeezing it until he couldn’t breathe. “You will share the same fate as Akako” the deep voice hissed. The co-leader cried out in pain as he felt the sharp claws dig into his skin, the green poison hissed and crackled. Letting go of his victim, Sesshomaru watched coldly as the co-leader twisted and turned, struggling to get air back into lungs. Then, with a final cry, the body went limp.
“Sesshomaru!” the sound of Inuyasha’s voice sent a whole rush of relief through the daiyokai’s body. “I’m glad you’re safe” Sesshomaru murmured, his arms snaked around Inuyasha’s hips before pulling him closer until their bodies were touching. “Feh! It would have to take more than puny soldiers to kill me” Inuyasha scoffed. Sesshomaru rolled his eyes, then leaning to kiss the soft lips in front of him, earning a soft moan in the process.
“Hey you two lovebirds” Koga’s voice made Sesshomaru flare up in anger once more. He was determined to finish his kiss with his Inuyasha, but no luck. “Hey Koga! You’re going now I guess?” Inuyasha asked. Koga shrugged then nodded. “I guess should now that the battle is over but don’t worry I’m sure we will meet again soon” . The two friends shared another hug before pulling away.
“Hey Sesshomaru!” Koga yelled at the demon lord. Irritated still about the interruption, Sesshomaru shot the wolf a death glare. “You better take good of Inuyasha and make sure he’s happy living with ya” Koga growled then smiling sweetly at the hanyou. “I guess it’s goodbye then” Inuyasha said. “Yeah bye Inuyasha and you too Lord Sesshomaru”. Then, in a blink of an eye, Koga was gone.
“He’s finally gone” Sesshomaru muttered, secretly pleased. “Yeah,You know I’m not really going to miss him ” Inuyasha replied, still staring into the distance Suddenly feeling warm arms around him, Inuyasha shivered when he the soft breath of Sesshomaru, “Shall we continue our kiss before we were rudely interrupted?” a seductive, voice whispered in his ear.
“Hell yeah!” Inuyasha smiled before crashing his lips on Sesshomaru. And this time, there was no one to disturb them.
