Sesshomaru's POV
I gently took Inuyasha small hand into mine as I led him away from Chigio's foul-smelling room. We both let out a soft sigh when we turned the corner "That guy was scary!" Inuyasha said clutching onto my tail as we sauntered down the endless hall, I let a faint smile onto my lips "Really?" "Hai" I unlocked my bedroom door, stepping aside as Inuyasha dash pass me nearly toppling me over, Inuyasha gasped at the sight of the beautiful pearl painted walls that had exquisite flower patterns, the celling where a chandelier hung over a double sized bed "WOW! Is this your room?" I strided pass the dumbfound hanyou who was standing there with his mouth hanging open "Close your mouth"I scowled before elegantly sitting on the bed, noticing Inuyasha had an uncertain look in his eyes "What's troubling you?" I asked Inuyasha started fidgeting with his loose strands of white hair, I narrowed my golden eyes "I won't repeat myself" I said in an irritated tone. Inuyasha looked up, staring straight into my eyes as if he was searching my entire soul for something, after a while he slowly came forward, sitting beside me but lowered his head when I looked at him. I frowned.
Inuyasha's POV
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a frown appear on Sesshomaru's face he was still scrutinizing me with that unemotionless stare I tried my best not to look at him, but I couldn't help myself "You seem very uncomfortable sitting here. Is it me? Or something else?" I thought I heard a hint of hurt in my brother's tone but it was gone before I could even detect it "No, Its just... everyone says that I'm a filthy half-breed with tainted blood" I mumbled not realizing that Sesshomaru had overheard me, I pondered for moment wondering what the word 'half-breed meant and did it mean something negative or positive? "Umm.... what does the word...half breed mean?" I queried looking hopefully at Sesshomaru who had now turned away " Thats none of your concern, Inuyasha" he finally said rising from his position I quickly followered "Oh" I said masking my disappointment.
Sesshomaru sighed when he saw Inuyasha's ears droop, he was thinking of something positive to say but couldn't find the words "Inuyasha" the hanyou lift his head at the mention of his name "Yes?" "I must go to a meeting that will mostly go for the whole day, I'm giving you two choice, firstly you can stay in my chamber for the whole day, secondly you can go out to the royal garden and entertain yourself there, your choice" Sesshomaru finished, Inuyasha tilted his head "Thats it?" "Yes" "Can't you give me-" "No" Sesshomaru interupted sternly.
"That's not fair!" Inuyasha whined
"Its not suppose to be fair, now make up your mind" Sesshomaru answered back
"Fine, I'll go to the garden" Inuyasha said in a sulky voice
"Finally!" Sesshomaru muttered walking out of the room with Inuyasha trailing behind.
