"Inuyasha? Can you go into the forest to collect some water? But do be careful" said Inuyasha's mother watching her young son disappear into the woods. Inuyasha sniffed the air. The air today was clean and refreshing, "Now, where's the river?' muttered Inuyasha to himself his tiny bare feet started to ache but he kept on walking until another familiar scent difted toward his sensitive nose "Its him...." whispered Inuyasha watching the young demon lord appoarch him from the shadows "Lost again, Inuyasha?" Lord Sesshomaru said looking at Inuyasha emotionlessly as alway.
Inuyasha held Sesshomaru's glare, "No, I'm looking for the river"he repiled strongly. Sesshomaru chuckled softly "Why don't you use that nose of yours to sniff it out?" "Done that" retorted Inuyasha the demon lord sighed "What if I told you the river was behind you? Use those ridiculous ears that are sticking out of your head for once" Inuyasha's left ear twitched as if it had reacted to mild offence from Sesshomaru.
Inuyasha turned around. The sound of rushing water made Inuyasha hung his head with embarrassment, he wanted to show this powerful demon lord how indepent he was but now...
"Hurry up Inuyasha! I'm not going to wait for you"interrupted a voice. Inuyasha looked up. Sesshomaru had parted the tree's branches to reveal a sparkling river. "Your not going to leave?" asked Inuyasha walking pass Sesshomaru not looking at him "Its obvious your going to get lost again, so I have to guide you back to your village" repiled Sesshomaru watching Inuyasha bend down to dip the pot into the shimmering water, Inuyasha glared at Sesshomaru, "I'm not going to get lost this time" Inuyasha objected.
>Time-skip
"Are you done?" asked Sesshoamru, Inuyasha nodded struggling to pick up the pot. Sesshomaru could see the pot was too heavy for the boy, in a swift motion he took the pot out of Inuyasha's arms and walked off not looking to see if Inuyasha was following him. Inuyasha quickly followed. "Thank you for the present" Sesshomaru said unexpectedly breaking the forest's silence Inuyasha blinked "Your welcome" he repiled softly "I got something to give you in return if you can come tomorrow "replied Sesshomaru slightly turning around to look at Inuyasha, the young boy couldn't hide his curiosity "What is it?" he asked Sesshomaru gave Inuyasha a unexpressionless look yet amusing look.
"You will find out tomorrow".
