Continuing.....

Darkness. The sound of rain, shimmering raindrops gently trickling down his ears, the smell of the damp forest and somewhere in the distance he could hear the thundering sound of a waterfall cascading, but the journey was too far for him.

He was weak. His mind was clouded with unforgettable, painful events that he couldn't get out of his head, but most of all, those hurtful words echoed in his mind "No one wants you here".

"If I continue to lay in this wet and icy puddle, I might freeze to death" the boy shrugged, maybe death won't be that bad. No more hurtful comments, no more beating to the death....

But, what about his mother?

The boy was so focused on his thoughts that he nearly missed the sound of approaching footsteps, his heart skipped a beat as he quickly went back to his original state. Who was it? Was it the villagers? Have they come down to see if he was dead? No. He could only hear the sound of one pair of feet. Then he suddenly couldn't hear anything at all, the footsteps had somehow stopped yet he had a uncomfortable feeling that something was watching him. He felt a smooth clawed hand on his forehead before it was gone. Am I going mad?

The boy wished his nose wasn't blocked from the chilly winds so he could as least sniff the stranger out. ACHOO! 'Great! Now I got a cold' the boy thought miserably to himself, sniffing then he caught the sound of a soft chuckle . Something warm and fluffy started to wrapped around him , the boy tried to open his eyes but the same hand gently closed them, he suddenly didn't feel cold anymore the boy flinched at the deep, familiar voice "I know your awake, Inuyasha".

Do you like it? I think you know who the stranger is, but he hadn't been appearing for awhile so I decided to pop him back in for the sake of Inuyasha of course. Tell me if there is any mistakes! thank you!
