“Sir, what do I do with this wood?” one of the soldiers asked Hayate. “Put over there “the advisor said solemnly. “Hayate! Lord Sesshomaru would like to see you” Ryu shouted. “Katio, you’re in charge”. “Aye sir!”
“Lord Sesshomaru? You wish to see me?” Hayate stood in the doorway, watching the daiyokai write the last paper. “Come in Hayate” Sesshomaru ordered. “How far are you in finishing the castle?” Sesshomaru turned to face his advisor. Hayate cleared his throat, “its going quite well milord, we’re just pulling the last pillar in “Hayate reported. Sesshomaru nodded slowly before turning away. “And Lord Inuyasha? Is he recovering ok?” Hayate requested cautiously. “His recovery is no concern to you” Sesshomaru replied indifferently, rising up from his position. “You are dismissed, Hayate. Bowing in respect, Hayate quickly scurried out of the room leaving his lord deep in thoughts.
Knock knock, the soft sound woke the slumbering healer. “Who is it?” Chigo asked drowsily, not even bothering to move. An angry growl came from behind the door. “Who do you think idiot?” Chigo’s eyes widen. “OH MILORD!!!” the healer cried, he sprang up and lunged forward the door. Instantously, Sesshomaru shoved the healer out of the way, “Where is he?” Sesshomaru demanded scanning the room until his eyes fell onto the curtain which covered a small section of the room.
Stalking towards the small room, the daiyokai hardly heard the healer’s cry for him to stop. Pushing the curtain aside, Sesshomaru’s yokai flared. Inuyasha was only just healed but scars and cuts were still visible and gash could still be seen on his arm. “Chigo” Sesshomaru called out to the healer, not taking his eyes from his hanyou. “Yes?” came the reply “You said it will only take a couple of days for him to heal” Sesshomaru snapped, eyes going red.
Chigo laughed nervously. “Yes…but...but….sometimes I’m not always right” Chigo said backing away. “I should kill you for this” Sesshomaru snarled, flexing his claws. “Don’t even think about it” a voices made the demon lord come to a halt. Turning around, Sesshomaru somewhat smiled, “You should still be resting Inuyasha” Sesshomaru said but of course, never listening to his orders Inuyasha jumped off the bed, stalking right up to his mate.
“I was getting plenty of sleep until you came barging in” Inuyasha growled before smiling kindly at Chigo. ‘Thank you for taking care of me Chigo” Inuyasha said ignoring the growl from Sesshomaru. Chigo blushed, “No problem” he bowed.
“I’ll be going to Sesshomaru’s room now” Inuyasha glared at the demon lord as he walked pass. Sesshomaru rolled his eyes before he too said his thanks to the healer whoever not that warmly as his mate did. “That’s what I’m here for milord”Chigo said proudly then looking out of the window.
“I’m sure the castle will look magnificent tomorrow” Chigo commented.
The only reply he received was an exasperated scoff.
