At that moment Kitayuu dashed and slammed his body into Raiden, instantly sending him into the wall. The force was enough to make the entire thing collapse behind him and Raiden coughed out a whole cup of blood.
As he laid with his stomach on the floor, he smirked a bit and even let out a little chuckle. Ei stared down at him and his laughter immediately ended, now replaced with an enraged, but also calm menacing expression as he looked back up at his mother.
Ei put her polearm back on her back and crossed her arms, "Now boy..."
"Show me"
-OST STARTS PLAYING-
Raiden looked back at Kitayuu, a red aura with yellow streaks consumed him in a blind and bloodthirsty rage.
Raiden smiled as he slowly got back up and pointed a finger at Kitayuu chuckling at him, "You just don't give up do you? Well if you want me to kill you."
With all his power, Raiden launched himself, appearing right behind Kitayuu in an instant.
"THEN I WILL HONOR YOUR DEATH WISH!"
With virtually no time passing by, Raiden thrusted his knee right at the back of Kitayuu's neck striking the nape with full force which launched him into the wall. However, in an instant, Kitayuu rebounded, throwing two rapid fire boom fists striking Raiden's face and following up with a headbutt that sent shockwaves through the arena and blood all over.

Raiden's mind went blank, all he could feel was the pain and intensity of the fight. For a moment he couldn't do anything, but before he could snap back into the fight, Kitayuu had already shot an energy blast like no one had ever seen before knocking him onto his back.
Zhongli stood up as the crowd gasped as the energy blast had caught a lot of attention, 'I saw it for a split second, a blinding bright yellowish white colour that didn't look like any elemental vision. Could this be linked to the power he has? Despite the fact he has lost control, that energy I felt was completely pure!'
Raiden dodged Kitayuu's next attack and retreated until his back hit the wall, with nowhere left to go Kitayuu grabbed him by the head and dragged it across the wall before stopping and sending heavy punches one after the other which shook the arena and caved into the wall as he hit Raiden.
After a few more beatings Raiden managed to catch Kitayuu's knee with both arms which still sent it into his stomach.
"Dammit you asshole... I'm gonna kill you!"
With a quick elbow swing Raiden manage to unpin himself and strike Kitayuu with a left hook shortly after. Once he was completely free, he put both hands together and fired out a tornado beam and managed to catch Kitayuu right in the middle of an X shape being made by the beams.
Before long, his skin started ripping and blood came splattering out again as Kitayuu's regeneration could no longer keep up.
"I'm not done yet!"
Raiden pulled his knee in and extended it out again, kicking slightly up and hitting Kitayuu's chin before striking him with a hurricane barrage and finishing it off with a swirling strike.
Despite all this, Kitayuu didn't fall back and managed to stay in the same position.
Raiden couldn't believe his eyes and the sight of this made him even angrier, 'This fucker really is a monster! How can he still be standing after all of that'
He got ready with his arms and unleashed a massive tornado beam, but the pure energy that Zhongli had noticed earlier had suddenly blasted out of Kitayuu and eviscerated Raiden's attack in an instant and struck him instead.
After the blast hit, Raiden collapsed, panting on all fours with blood gurgling out of his mouth.
Kitayuu put his hands together and along with a loud scream, unleashed another blast of energy at Raiden below.
The recoil sent him flying back, but with his feet landing on the arena wall, Kitayuu pushed off destroying the wall behind him. His body was now starting to radiate more of that energy and glow.
Raiden stumbled up into a drooping position, clinging on to whatever he had left.
The crowd braced for what was to follow and Raiden smirked through all the pain and injuries inflicted on him as Kitayuu came charging forward.
Kitayuu raised his fist and screamed loud enough to shake the entire arena.

But then something happened...
Something that made even the Shogun surprised. Kitayuu's glow and aura faded in an instant and his eyes quickly closed. His body went limp and his fist dropped with only the momentum now carrying his body through the air.
Meanwhile, just as the glow had faded Raiden put his fingers up in front of his face and everyone already knew what was about to happen.
"Domain Expansion..."
Zhongli and Neuvillette stood up in a panic and the crowd could not believe a first year student was about to pull off an S grade technique.
"Piercing Cyclone"
Ei, who had been observing from above inside the battlefield clenched her fist and in an instant she dashed catching Kitayuu midair with one arm before taking her polearm out with the other and effortlessly deflected the hundreds of thousands of cuts and slashes caused by Raiden's domain until eventually smiting him down with lightning and knocking her son unconscious.

Raiden fell to his knees and collapsed onto the floor.

Neuvillette had just arrived between the three of them and Ei spun her polearm and put it back onto her back before letting go of Kitayuu, dropping him to the ground.
"You have shown me enough"
As she ascended back to her seat, Neuvillette looked at the two boys who were now unconscious.
"According to my own observations of this battle, Raiden has been declared the winner of this round and is the last contestant that shall proceed on towards the semi-finals!"
