After the one sided match between Raiden and Hikari, Kitayuu rushed down to the room that was connected to the arena by a hallway. He had wanted to stay and watch the full match since he could get an idea of Raiden's fighting style, but now that it was his turn to fight. He recalled the brief encounter he had with Axel in the battle royale. Since the fight was rather short, he was still unsure of how to approach Axel, but one thing he knew was the elemental vision he had, Dendro.
Axel also recalled the battle in the forest, clearly remembering the upper hand that he had on Kitayuu, he smirked as he entered the arena facing Kitayuu, feeling confident that he could beat him, "I must thank the organisers for pairing me up with you before that asshole. At least I get to use you as a warm up and get to see his face as I get to do what he wants to do to you, and once I'm done with that. I will pummel his face a hundredfold."
Axel turned to look up at the stands, wanting to send everyone a message, Raiden had just arrived up top staring down at Axel with an opposing look before muttering under his breath, "Show me what you can do then..."
"BEGIN!"
Roots instantly grew around Kitayuu's feet and grew in a spiralling motion, completely wrapping him up. Axel clenched both of his fists and and thorns at least 6 inches long penetrated through the roots in all directions like an iron maiden. Everyone gasped at the brutal sight with Bennet standing up slightly and leaning his hands on the seat in front before screaming, "KITAYUUUUU!"
Raiden, still standing looked down stoic as ever, no reaction not even a single smirk, "Well played"
Ayaka turned to him angrily, "What do you mean well played!? That's such a scummy move, Kitayuu could be dead or heavily wounded!"
Sparkle giggled and as time progressed she started laughing louder and louder. Everyone except for Raiden looked at her with disgust, "He's not referring to Axel..."

Axel stumbled to the side as he felt his cheek getting punched, before he could even balance himself, a second punch landed on the other side of his face. Axel almost fell back, but managed to catch himself just in time, at that moment Kitayuu could be seen again behind him also almost falling over as coming to an immediate stop after going so fast destabilised him, "Shit, I lost control."
Everyone gasped again at the sight, even Raiden gave a slight smile.
Keqing; "I see..."
She thought back analysing what happened;
'Not bad Kitayuu... just as the roots were wrapping up, you noticed that the front end was getting covered up a lot faster than the back end. Not only that, but the follow up was flawless... you let yourself go unnoticed by jumping behind a pile of rocks to avoid creating a dust trail and using the speed of electro to make it almost instant. You then caught yourself just before making impact with the ground with anemo to ensure there would be no loud thud or dust scattering from the impact.'
