Keqing jumped out of the dust, smiling and ready to continue this fight.
"Well then, I guess there is no reason for me to hold back anymore."
A bolt of lightning struck down on her and blew the dust away, revealing her thunder-charged state.
Raiden didn't feel any pressure or doubt in any way. His face remained calm and cold. With both of them going at full power. The climax to the final battle had just begun.
The silence was loud amongst the crowd. All that could be heard within the arena were occasional sparks of electro and the wind from Raiden's aura.
No one dared to make a noise. Everyone in the crowd leaned forward, not even thinking about making a blink. The divine sat in their special area, intrigued, and patiently waited for the next move.
Both fighters remained stationary. Both of them had no intention of showing mercy to their opponent.
The moment was tense and felt like it was lasting an eternity.
Raiden slowly lifted one foot forward while Keqing's smile vanished and was replaced with a serious glare.
Mere millimeters before Raiden's heel touched the surface, Keqing's eyes swerved to the side as she got ready for Raiden, who had seemingly dashed right behind her in an instant and turned to unleash a hurricane barrage.
'He's fast!'
Keqing swayed and slipped to avoid every single punch but was pushed back by a powerful wind blast. She fired an electro orb, and as Raiden charged forward, he managed to swat it out of the way before jumping up and firing a wind blade at Keqing.
The moment he landed, Keqing was able to avoid the wind blade and close the distance between them before throwing a punch straight forward.
Raiden moved his head out the way, but a small gash appeared on the side of his cheek. By the time he noticed, Keqing was ready to strike a second time. In response, Raiden stomped a foot onto the ground and created a shockwave blast to blow her away.
The dust created from the attack covered the arena until it was quickly swirled into a piercing vortex. The vortex created a dust storm, and Keqing was forced to shield her eyes and avoid wind blades that were being thrown out as well.
Amidst the storm, Raiden was able to see Keqing clearly due to the electro sparks that flashed from time to time. After waiting for the perfect time, he flung the vortex at the moment the next flash occurred above him and perfectly hit Keqing with it.
Surprisingly, she managed to endure the attack well and remained afloat. Raiden advanced by tackling Keqing to the ground. For the next few clashes, only a line of electro smashing from one wall to the next was visible to Kitayuu and most of the other spectators.
Each collision sent rattling and tremors throughout the arena, and heads were turning in all directions, barely able to keep up.
Kitayuu; "Am I the only one that can not see what's happening?"
Bennet was trying to focus as hard as he could, but he too was unsuccessful; "Dammit, they're just way too fast. All I can see are flashes of light and them bouncing from one area to the next. It's just ridiculous how fast they are."
"I see everything."
Both boys gasped as they turned to look at Hu Tao.
"Naturally, your perception grows along with your speed. As for me, I am a lot more experienced than you first-years. Although this speed is incredibly impressive for your age. In my eyes, they are rather average. Or you can even say slow."
