Double Trouble- Re-written.

Distorted Thoughts Part 1

 ~ This chapter went through a few different version before I managed to combine two of the ideas together.

A few days after the Plesio Zord was found, a burning asteroid fell to earth. Snide walked towards it with Wrench and Fury. They got to it before Hydie, who didn't know the asteroid came to earth.

Singe walked out of the asteroid and walked towards them. He didn't pay attention to the small creator he left from his landing.
"Who...is that?" Wrench asked, not recognizing Singe.
"Is there any reason why I shouldn't slice whoever you are into smithereens?" Snide asked as he pointed his sword towards Singe. Everyone stopped in their spots. Singe looked at Snide, not bothered by the sword.
"You shouldn't do that..." Singe said to Snide "...not if you want the energems." Wrench took a step behind Snide.
"How does he know about the energems?" Singe put a finger on Snide's sword.
"Rumor has it that they're loose on this planet..." He took a few steps towards Snide, moving his finger along the sword as he did "....and you're willing to partner with anyone who can bring you one." Fury took a step closer to Singe.
"What makes you think you can get an energem?" Fury asked because he didn't trust Singe even though they just met.
"Oh please, I travel in a burning asteroid." Singe said to Fury before he looked at Snide. "...and I know how to get into the purple one's head." Snide hid his surprise when Singe mentioned purple because he knew Hydie was the Shadow Amethyst Ranger. He wanted revenge against Hydie after Fury came back with the news she was a ranger, found her zord and chose the rangers over them.
"I like what I'm hearing Fury." Snide said as he moved his sword down a little. "The rangers may be about to meet their match. 'Hydie and Scorn will pay for betraying me' Snide thought to himself.

Hydie watched Chase and Riley bring some boxes into the cafe. She looked at the decorations they already had up.
"Is Valentine's day on earth this big of a deal?" Hydie asked towards Shelby, who was the closest to her.
"Yeah, it's one of the biggest holidays for couples." Shelby said as she placed a small bouquet of fake flowers in the center of a table. Hydie looked at the flowers before she looked at Chase. "Have you celebrated it before?" Shelby stopped what she was doing to ask Hydie. Hydie shook her head.
"Never had someone to celebrate it with before." Hydie said as she kept her eyes on Chase. Shelby moved to Hydie's side.
"Well, I heard Chase is planning something special for you." Hydie looked at Chase. "But you didn't hear it from me." Shelby gave Hydie a smile before she walked away.

Hydie looked at Chase to see him showing Riley something on his phone. Riley whispered something to Chase, which made him look at Hydie. Hydie watched him quickly put his phone away as he gave Hydie a smile. She smiled back before Chase walked over to her.
"What are you still doing here?" Chase asked with surprise. Hydie shrugged.
"I'm waiting for someone...." Hydie started to say in a teasing way.
"Oh really?" Chase asked to play along with Hydie.
"My boyfriend." Hydie said. "He's this really cute guy with a horrible accent." Hydie smiled so Chase would know she was joking about his accent. "But he's really good on a skateboard and looks great in black." Chase smiled.
"Well, my girlfriend can be a bit crazy..." Chase started "...but she looks pretty good in purple."
"Pretty good?" Hydie asked. "Just pretty good?"
"An argument could be made for hot." Chase said before he surprised Hydie with a kiss.
"Oh, get a room you two." Shelby said, teasing them as she walked past. Chase blushed.
"I should go." Hydie said. "I need to get my skateboard since you're finally teaching me how to skateboard."
"I'll see you later." Chase said. Hydie gave a nod before she walked out of the cafe.

Hydie walked out of the Amber Beach Museum and stopped on the sidewalk. She couldn't help but look around. There was a part of her that was happy to be spending time with the rangers (mainly Chase) but she also felt bad for going against her brother. Hydie did have the perfume hidden in her ship that could erase a few hours of memories, but it wouldn't help in her current situation. It had been a few days since Hydie found her zord, which meant it wouldn't work on Fury's memories of the fight. She knew he would have told Heckyl or Snide as soon as he had the chance. 'My brother would know I've had an energem this entire time....' Hydie thought to herself as her hand reached to her locket. She wanted to talk to her brother about it, but she didn't know how he would react when they would see each other again.
