Double Trouble- Re-written.

Forgive and Forget Part 2

~ I swear I didn't mean to have over a year between updates. I think I just lost motivation to write for this and people didn't seem interested in the story.

~ The start of this chapter was written last year but most of it was added within the last few days  and I might have gotten some more inspiration for this story. Hopefully you will still enjoy this story!

~ This is continuing the events of the episode 'Forgive and Forget'. This is also the current longest chapter of the story!

Tyler drove everyone back to the base. Hydie sat next to Chase, who was trying not to look worried about her. Heckyl sat next to Hydie and looked around as Tyler drove. Hydie looked around to, but she found herself looking at Chase during most of the ride. Chase had one of his hands close to Hydie's, but didn't hold her hand. He wanted to, but didn't want to freak her out while she had no memories. Chase could notice a peaceful look on Hydie's face, even though she was confused about what was going on.

Hydie looked at Chase when Tyler finally parked his car. Chase got out of the car and held a hand towards Hydie. Hydie looked at Chase and carefully held his hand.
"Don't worry..." Chase said to her "...we'll help you." He added before Hydie got out of the car and stood next to Chase.
"This is not a good idea." Kendall said as she walked up to the rangers. "Showing anyone our base is risky."
"Heckyl and Hydie already know we're rangers." Chase said from Hydie's side.
"What?" Kendall asked, surprised that two people knew the ranger's secret.
"They saw us." Shelby said.
"They only got hurt when they valiantly lept in to save Riley." Ivan added and Riley nodded as they all looked at Kendall.
"We have to help them." Riley said. "Please Miss Morgan." He added. Kendall looked at Hydie and Heckyl, who still looked confused.
"Okay..." Kendall sighed. "Bring them in." She stepped to the side to let the other lead Hydie and Heckyl to the entrance.
"Where are we going?" Hydie asked Chase, who was still at her side.
"You'll see." Chase said with a small smile. Hydie looked up and saw a T-rex head that Tyler crawled in.
"...is that safe?" Hydie asked Chase.
"It's very safe." Chase said. "There's a slide inside." He added before climbing up the side. "Just climb in after me." He slid in the T-rex head, leaving Hydie behind. She looked into the T-rex head and worried that it wouldn't be safe. Hydie took a deep breath and took the steps that Chase did. She sat in the T-rex head before she sled down.

Hydie got to the bottom of the slide, where Chase was waiting. She didn't notice where she was or that the others were in the same room.
"That was fun." Hydie said about the slide. "I want to do that again." She looked and saw Chase, who stood near the bottom of the slide.
"Maybe in a few minutes." Chase said and held his hand out to Hydie. She slowly took Chase's hand before she looked around.
"Woah...where are we?" Hydie asked before she heard Heckyl come down the slide behind her.

Hydie looked around the room and saw all the different things inside.
"Is this...your base?" Hydie asked Chase because she did remember them mentioning the base before the ride. Chase was about to reply when Hydie saw a mirror near them. "Woah...is that what I look like?" Hydie walked away from Chase and closer to the mirror.

As she looked over her reflection, she noticed her hair was down and a little messy. Hydie brushed some of her hair behind her ear and noticed a bruise. She frowned and gently touched the bruise. It didn't hurt but it made Hydie worry about how she got it.
"Hey..." Chase said softly to her as he slowly got closer to her "...don't worry about it." He said to Hydie about the bruise on her face. "You still look beautiful even with the bruise." Hydie looked at Chase's reflection and gave him a small smile.
"Thanks." Hydie said to Chase before she turned to face him. She noticed how close they were to each other but a part of her felt comfortable with how close they were.
"You should sit down..." Chase gently guided her to a table where Heckyl was sitting at. "I'll be right back." Hydie looked at Chase and gave him a nod before she sat on a box next to Heckyl.
