Your Love is Mine

Chapter 3

We ate in peace, a new waiter brought our food. I guess I scared the guy off. Mia kept taking glances at me. After eating and arguing on who is paying the check, which was me. We left. "You want to get ready at my place? We have about 5hrs left." I told her as I drive towards the highway. "Yeah, I have my stuff with me anyways. Plus I want to take a nap." She said looking out the window. The rest of the drive was quiet with just the radio playing.

Once we got into the house she went to her room that I kept for her. I went to my room to change into some gym shorts and a sports bra. I didn't bother putting shoes on since I was going to shift. I walked to Mia's room & knocked softly. "Hey, I'm going out to..." I opened the door to find her fast asleep. I smiled and closed the door softly. I ran down the steps and made a sharp turn to the kitchen door. I swung it open and shifted in mid air. My wolf was more then excited to run through the woods. We ran dodging fallen trees, feeling the air though my fur. "Why do I have a feeling something is going to change our life?" I asked my wolf Sage. "I don't know." Was all she replied. We reached a small clearing. It had an amazing view. Mountains surrounding edge of the land. A clear lake sat in the middle between my land and the mountains. Trees surrounded us. I felt at peace for once. I don't know how long I stayed there but I was broken from my thoughts when I felt someone breaking my wall I put up in my mind. As soon as I put it down I felt Mia's presence, "Lelia! Where the Fuck are you?! You've been gone for a while! I'm so worried!" She rambled, I winced at her screaming. I got up shaking my fur, "I'm fine, I came for a run. I'm heading back now. What time is it?" I said jogging back. "It's 6pm, hurry up so we can start getting ready." I picked up my pace putting the wall back up trying to hurry up.

As I get close to the edge of the forest I pick up a delicious scent of vanilla and honey. My wolf and I changed course to find where the scent was coming from, but the more we looked the less it disappeared. I stopped and looked around trying to find it. "Where did it fucking go?!" Sage growled in my mind. "Fuck! I don't know." I growled and stormed back. I shifted back by a tree where I kept a spare shirt and basketball shorts. I walked towards the door opening the door to find Mia in the kitchen. "Damn dude relax! Don't break the door." She joked, but looked at me with wide eyes. "What's wrong?" She asked, I could tell she was a little scared. My eyes were black with anger. "I found the delicious scent in the forest and I tried to look for it but it Fucking Disappeared!" I growled walking towards the fridge grabbing a bottle of water. "Dude did you say delicious scent?" She asked. I all did was nod as I was drinking water. "Why?" I asked her curiously. "Hmm no reason. Come on don't worry about it, let's get ready so we can head to the party." She walked towards me pulling my arm. "Eww! Your all sweaty!" She let go, wiping her hand on her shirt. I shook my head and smiled. "Let's get ready then."

I hopped in the shower, letting the water hit my already hot and bothered skin. "When we'll we go search for that scent?" My wolf asked. "Tomorrow we can go." I said as I started to scrub my body with my coconut body wash. I did my business, and got out. I wrapped my body with a towel and walked out the bathroom to find Mia going through my closet. "Uh what are you looking for?" I asked her. "Shit!" Was all I heard before she hit her head on the wall trying to turn around. I couldn't help but laugh. "Dude! You scared the fuck outta me!" She screamed as she got up, "I was looking for some shoes." She said looking at me. "Put clothes on will ya?" She said as she turned around looking again. I shook my head and walked to grab my bag where I had bought my clothes. "It's my room and if I want to walk around in just a towel I can." I said smirking. "Whatever." Was all she said before grabbing a white pair of sandals and walking out. I shook my head and started to change. Once I was done changing I did my makeup lightly. I wasn't one to wear it but today I wanted to try something new. I left my hair out in wavy curls. I looked over myself in the bathroom mirror I looked presentable, I was wearing my white button jersey, with a white singlet underneath. With my black leggings and black vans. My makeup was light but made my eyes stand out just a bit. I walked out to my room to grab my phone which was convenient because the case acted as a wallet as well.  I walked out the room towards Mia's room. I knocked and heard her say come in. I walked in and saw her putting on some blush. "Almost done?" I asked standing by her doorway. "Yeah, now I am. What do you think?" She said standing up. Her sundress looked stunning on her, it hugged her every curve she had, her hair was pinned up and sat nicely on her head. Her make up was done well, made her skin look flawless. "You look stunning. Every guy is going to want to get a piece of that ass." I said smirking at her. She started laughing and blushed a little. "Thanks, that outfit suites you. It's you." She complimented. I smiled. "Alright let's go, it's 7:30." I said walking towards the stairs. I heard her grab her things and follow behind. "Are you staying with me at my house or coming back?" She asked. "I'll drive and we'll see what happens." I said grabbing my keys by the front door walking towards my car. Driving to her place was short. As we got closer we could hear the music blaring already. We found a parking spot and got out, well. Let the party Begin.
