3rd POV
Walking down the hall, Leila walked ahead holding River by the hand. Leila's wolf wanted to be let out. She wanted to teach those who Defied her. Mia was ready. She wanted to prove herself to her New Alpha Queen and her mate. It was a surprise to her but was trying to still come to terms with it. River was frighten for these 2 females. Specially for her mate, she would be fighting a male. Who is physically stronger. She can't help but see the change in her. It was somewhat a thrill but it scared her. She didn't want to believe that her own mate would tie her to a Pole and beat her. These traditions were barbaric, but she had to try.

Walking out the pack house they walked towards the forest, "Where are we going?" River said to no one in particular. "There's a arena in the middle of the forest, we use it for when wolves want to challenge each other, whether it's for someone's mate, Positions or for a grudge." Mia said like it was nothing. "Wait? Did you say mate? How is that?" Confusion clouded her. "Sometimes we settle for someone who isn't our mate. But when one of the pair finds their True mate, usually there is a stupid male or female that wants to challenge them for who they love. Some reject each other's actual mate to be with someone the Moon Goddess didn't bless you with. And that could have terrible consequences." Leila said. Rivers head swirled with thoughts. Thoughts that soon made Leila angry. "I would Never Reject you. And I hope you never come to Think of Rejecting me." She growled a bit letting her go and walking up ahead. Entering the building alone. "Come on, I'll lead you to where Cole will be waiting for you." Mia said. "I thought you hated me, why are you doing this?" River whispered. Guilt consumed her so much. "I'm not doing it for you, I'm doing it for my BestFriend, you would get slaughtered if you fought without the proper training," she said opening the door where Cole was waiting by. His face blank of no emotion. "And this is to Prove my Worth in this pack. As the Beta's Mate." She said looking at Cole holding her confidence high. River hugged her tight. "May the so Called Moon Goddess be with you and Protect you and Leila." She whispered in her ear. Letting her go she walked with Cole to her seat. Being that there were 4 seats, one being bigger then the rest, Cole sat in the 2nd chair. He would look over the fight with Elijah. He was sitting in the Last chair. Cole motioned for River to sit in the middle. Soon the fight would start.

"Ladies and Gentlemen!" Elijah said standing in front of a Microphone. "Today, we will Witness our New alpha Queen being challenged for her position. It's not Only about that, but to show Who has greater Strength and has the Capacity of Leading this pack!" People cheered and Applauded. "I present the Challenger, Malcolm!" He said in a low growl. River looked to see him coming out. He was wearing only a pair shorts, showing off his chest to people. To prove his strength. She snorted, "Leila looks so much more better then him." She thought to herself. No one applauded him, everyone stayed quiet. She could slightly hear his growl in annoyance. She looked into the crowd and found Leila's father. His arms crossed in anger. His wife looked confident that her step daughter would win. "Next!" Elijah started again, "our Current Alpha Queen, who I Believe will show him his place in this Pack. Alpha Leila!" He said with Pride. Everyone cheered as she walked out with Grace. Every step she took showed that no One would take her place. She was willing to fight anyone in her way. River cheered herself, "Show him who's the Alpha Babe!" She screamed standing up. Everyone laughed at how supportive she was being. Leila smiled a bit but regained her focus. The guy looked a bit taken back. Her body was well built, scars were on her back showing that she had been whipped plenty of times but still stood her ground. "Anything goes for this Fight. This Fight will be about Submissions. Who Ever makes their Opponents submit but if the Winner makes the Kill will be the New Alpha." Elijah said with fierce. "Begin." Was all he said for the guy to lunge at Leila.
She dodged him plenty of times, throwing her hits every now in then. "Do you think she'll win?" River looked at Elijah. "Yes." Was all he said as his eyes were trained on Leila. Doing a Jump kick straight to his face making him spin and fall to the ground. He growled with anger shifting to his brown wolf. Turning to face her, she smirked not moving. Cole and Elijah at this point were on their feet. Leila didn't shift just stood there. "Don't Even Try!" The elder Alpha said. They shook with anger. Leila mocked him motioning him to come. He charged towards her. Her stance changed a bit as if she knew what to do. His teeth out and ready to bite her, she swiftly moves in time to grab his mouth and lift him up over her shoulder and slam him into the ground. You could hear his ribs break. The brown wolf howled in pain. But not before clawing at her side. River gasps in pain as well, feeling her mate in pain. Cole held River's hand in support. Leila showed no motion of pain but kept going. She lifts her leg to crack his shoulder and drops to his side to choke this huge wolf. Everyone on their feet seeing how Leila took down a wolf with just her human strength. He seemed to still want to fight. She breaks his neck and let's his body fall. Leila rises, her arms out showing everyone who is in Charge. "Anyone Else care to Challenge me?!" She yells with her Alpha command. No on moves, everyone bowing their heads to their Alpha Queen. Proving that she take a Male or Female on. River jumps the stand, which was 2 levels high. Running towards her mate with tears in her eyes. Slamming her self into her holding her, sobbing. Tears pouring out of her eyes because her female had to fight a male not worth of her time. Leila started to put her weight on her holding her close. Seeing everyone bow down to their Alpha made her happy. She smirked and lead her crying mate to where they were sitting. Cole had a first aid waiting for her. Getting to her big chair she sat, her face began to sweat a bit, "We have to clean the wound or it'll get infected." River said getting a disinfectant towel. "It's going to hurt..." Was all she said before placing an alcohol pad on it. It took everything in her not to claw him right there. River kept crying because her mate was in pain.

After it was cleaned and wrapped, Elijah stood up as everyone kept talking. Guards had taken the body out. As much as Leila didn't like him, she had mind link her guards to make a proper burial for him. Leila stood up looking out at everyone. Elijah nodded and sat back down. "Next, this young.... Pup challenged my, well Your Now Luna for her position. It is in her rights to challenge her. I present the Challenger..." Leila started except stopping looking at Elijah. "What's her name?" She tried to whisper. Everyone started to laugh, "Kathy, I think" Elijah said looking at his papers. Leila cleared her throat starting again..."Kathy." She came out in a pair of white shorts and a sports bra that looked like it wasn't hold much in. Leila raised her eyebrow at her. The female had a smirk on her face, thinking River was going to fight. River stood next to Leila shaken up a bit. "Next is my Mate who is Being challenged for her Position as the Luna of this pack. Does Anyone here want to take her place?" Leila said. No one said a word for a bit. "I do!" Was all heard. Everyone turned to the other entrance as Mia walked out in a black sports bra and shorts. Her hair tied up, she looked like she worked hard for her body, as well as the scars in her body. "I take the Luna's place and fight this...female." Mia said holding no doubt in her voice. "Very well. Mia will take the Luna's place in this fight" Leila said looking at everyone. Shocked faces was what she saw. Cole looked angry but didn't say a thing. "This fight is for the Position of the Luna, meaning it'll be about submissions or can be death. May the Best winning Female stand at the End." Leila said as everyone clapped. "Being said, everything goes." She continued. Mia growled at this female. She was determined to win. "Begin." Was all said for Mia to run towards the girl. The girl was ready to kick her, but Mia was fast to grab her leg in mid air. Grabbing her leg she swung her around and slammed her hard on the floor. Creating a small crater. Gasps were heard everywhere. Leila smirked impressed with what she was seeing. The girl recovered quick before Mia landed a hard kick in her stomach. "That kick looks like it could kill." River said softly, hold Leila's hand. "In some cases yes, but that kick hurts." She chucked a bit. River looked at Leila surprised. The girl ran towards her tackling her by the waist, well tried too. Mia held her ground before she switched positions and lifted her above her shoulders and slammed her again. Everyone was on their feet looking at how fierce she was fighting. The girl was able to stop Mia's kick with her arms and pushing her away but Leila knew stopping it would cause for her arm to break. Mia fell back and looked pissed. The young female got up and tried to shift. But before she was able to shift, Mia had hit her on her pressure point close to her shoulder making her arm limp. The girl growl knowing if she shifted she'll be vulnerable. Next thing Mia held her by the throat. Eyes flashing black. Claws started to decent. Throwing her to the wall with a swift movement, the female broke through the wall made of stone. Mia breathed hard knowing she Won. She lifted her arms in victory. "The Winner is Mia!" Leila stated as everyone cheered for her. Cole jumped the wall and walked towards her, Mia looked at him tiredly. "I've always been proud of you. Always fought to the Top. How can I not accept you." He said pulling her into a hug. Leila smiled at them. River was happy the fight was over.

Everyone Leaving, Leila was back in their room laying down. River was sitting on the chair close to the bed. She had fallen asleep. Wanting to rest. River kept thinking of how she had a mate. She wanted to give her a try. Maybe find happiness with this female. But part of her, didn't. She wanted to be free. Leila stirred in her sleep, something bothering her but didn't wake up. Making up her mind, she'd give her a chance. But knew it wouldn't last. She had to find out how to reject someone... She knew she'd have too sooner or later. Getting up, she walked to the other side and layer close to her but not close to touch her. Seeing Leila move closer to River, pulling her into her arms Leila nuzzled her face by her Mark.  For once she felt complete. But it wouldn't be for long.
