*River's POV*

Her eyes showed anger, disgust and Embarrassment. I had just slapped her in front of our guest. The Ultimate disrespect. The guest Alpha had a smile on his face and his Luna showed no emotion. "What the Fuck do you think you are doing?" She growled with so much anger. The female who had kissed my Mate stood by her, smirking. I growled myself and tried to lunge at her. I wanted to rip her apart. Drink from her Fountain of Life. The Luna walked up to us and placed her hand on Leila. "Sweetheart you failed to mention you had a mate? Mind an introduction?" She said eyeing me. The female laughed, "Babe she's your so called mate? She lacks training and manners. Kind of an embarrassment to the pack." She said with her Irish accent. "Stop it." Leila said in anger. "Luna Casey, this my...ex mate, River." Leila said looking at me with anger. She cocked an eyebrow. "River, this is Luna Casey and Alpha Declan." She said barely looking at me now, dropping me on the floor. "Ex?" Alpha Declan said and started laughing. "Why is that?" He said laughing. I wanted to go at him, i Eyed him hard. His Luna saw this and stepped in front. "I suggest you control yourself because he isn't known to show Mercy." She said in such a icy cold matter. It scared me, but tried to maintain composure. Just like Leila's stepmother told me. "Never show Weakness." "Complications Uncle." Leila said. I was jealous and i let it get the best of me. "Let's Go." was all Leila said before grabbing my arm and pulling me away. The bitch looked at me like she wanted to go another round. But i saw Alpha Declan get in front of her and whisper something. I desperately wanted to know what he had just told her. Not realizing where we were, we had entered the Pack house and walking to her office. It looked completely different from what i Remembered. "Sit." She said as she pointed to a chair that was in front of a new desk. "No." I replied so stubbornly, i wasn't going to let her tell me what to do. "Sit. Down." She said having her back toward me. I can visibly see her shake.

I went with my gut and started to walk towards her, I can still see her shaking. But the question was, was she still shaking of anger towards me? Or was it because i was getting close to her. I was literally behind her, using every bit of power i had i placed my hand on her shoulder. But i had made a Terrible Mistake. She spun too quickly and my reactions were slow. She had grabbed me by the throat and slammed me against the Wall. "What the Fuck do you Think You are Doing? I am an Alpha Female and You dare Disrespect me In front of My Guest?!" She growled with so much anger. I was shaking from loosing oxygen and fear. I clawed at her hand. I can see her eyes still Darken but i also saw the hurt i had caused her. She dropped me on the floor and i gasped for air. Coughing and crying i looked at the Ground. "Did you not Think of the Consequences that could have Happen if that Wasn't my Uncle?!" She yelled. "She had her Hands all over you! I lost it!" i Yelled back at her finally looking at her. Showing her that i still cared. "I didn't like that she was Kissing you! and You Slept with someone! How do you think i felt?!" i screamed getting up and facing her. I wasn't going to back down. I wanted her Back and i Wasn't going down without a Fight. I don't know what changed but it Did. "YOU DIDN'T WANT ME! YOU BETRAYED ME AND MY WOLF!" She yelled back, i could see the tears starting to Build up. "You didn't want me, i wasn't good Enough for you. I was Trying to protect you from the danger Coming and wanted you Not to be a part of this. But i brought you here. I made a Mistake of marking you. But now You don't get to come back into my life and tell me that you're Jealous. YOU DON'T WANT ME!" She finally Bellowed out. I could see that i did hurt her. I hurt her by not being by her side but she hurt me. "I was scared of wanting you, you were so secretive and i just felt so Alone. Baby, please...Just let me show you that i can be the Luna this Pack deserves." I pleaded her. Doing something i thought i would never. I got on my knees and showed my neck, the ultimate submission. She could ultimately kill me right here and Now. But i was Ready to die for her. "I will train as hard as i can and Prove to you that i can be the Best. And we can work on us. But please no more Secrets. I beg of you...Alpha Leila." i begged crying. i looked up and saw her in complete shock. Tears were in her eyes but none fell. But it was like ice water had dropped on her and regained composure. "No." was all she said and walked away from me. Leaving me here.

I looked at the spot that she was at, hours had past and the sun was starting to set. Yet i couldn't move. My heart had shattered into a million pieces. I poured everything out for her and she had rejected me. Now i knew how she had felt. Alpha Declan came in and looked at me. Yet i couldn't look at him. "Laddy get up and show some Respect will ya?" he said with an Irish accent. Yet his command didn't faze me. I couldn't move. "Okay then," was all he said before picking me up and trying to Stand me up. "Either you stand now or i break both ya legs and give you a reason to not be able too." he growled. I looked at him and tears started to fall. "She said no." was all i said before breaking down. He didn't show any emotion. And he wasn't going to start now. "And what are ya going to do about it? Cry like a wee baby? Pathetic. You aren't meant to Lead a pack if you cant Even stand on ya Own." he said letting me fall but i was able to stand. I felt this anger growing. "Its Your fault that this Bitch is Here! I should kill Her and You!" i said growling and trying to lunge at him. But he was already Ten steps ahead of me. With a swift move he grabbed my face and slammed me down on the table breaking it. Coughing up blood and gasping for air, the world around me started to darken, "My Mate was right laddy, i don't hold nuthin back. Not even for a female." He growled with so much anger, he released a bit of his strength to show me he was an True Alpha Male. A man that won't tolerate disrespect. My breathing was shallow, i could hold on much longer. I felt incredible pain, but it was Nothing compared to my mate rejecting me...

Alpha Declan standing in front of River looking at her, showing no emotion till Leila's dad walked in. "Brother what brings ya here?" Alpha Declan smiles at him. "Why did you do that?" Leila's dad said. He felt the need to protect her. He knew that River was the rightful Luna to the pack. She just needed guidance. "She was disrespectful brother. Whatcha mean?" He said squaring up to him. They looked similar, both at the edge of glory. Witnessing loss, death, and war. Alpha Declan looked rough, like a wild untamed beast. While Alpha Damian looked like the quiet part of a Dangerous Storm that will take everything in its path. "What are you up to Declan?" Alpha Damian said in a low growl, walking around him to pick River up. "Well brother, I'm here to help my Dear Niece." He said with a smile so sinister. "Watch yourself...Brother." Damian said with anger. Take her out of the room heading to his wife's room.
