Friends
Funny the pain that word can cause
"Just friends"
The words echo in my mind
"Just friends"
Should have known the whole time
Friends don't cause pain
Then assume it'll go away
Friends don't hurt each other
And then act as if it is okay
"Friends"
Something we no longer are
"Friends"
That word won't get you far
There are awful friends
But there are good ones too
Ones who truly care
But they are not you
You hurt me
Scars don't fade away
You hurt me
Yet I still stay
