I never told you
How when you touched his arm
It felt like a stab
Straight through my heart

I never told you
That when you were next to him
I felt my heart breaking
Deep within

I never told you
How I truly felt
Because you wanted him
And no body else

I never told you
That I stick around but not just for myself
It's for you and me both
Because you need me as well

I never told you
How when his name leaves your lips
I feel pain in my chest
As his hands touch your hips

I never told you
That I hate you with him
Because you're happy
And that tears me apart limb by limb

I never told you
Because I decided to be a good friend
I didn't break your heart
But you broke mine instead
