Chapter thirteen

A/n I know the last chapter ended like mid paragraph but I needed to update so I did...sorry for that, I'll try and make this chapter longer because of my stopping :D so here ya go :)

I took a deep breathe and finished walking down the stairs and turned to face the pair of them. They were in mid glare and appeared to have stopped talking.

"Hey Alex?" I called out. She turned to me and gave me a half smile. I knew she wasn't to happy.

"Yea?" She asked walking away from Rayne who continued to glare at the back of her head.

"Do you and Rayne want to come up and have pizza with the rest of us?" I asked quietly. Rayne had shifted his glare from Alex to me and I felt uncomfortable.

"I don't eat." Rayne hissed sharply from behind Alex. She rolled her eyes and shook her head.

"I would be happy to join you." Alex said emphasizing the I in the sentence. I smiled at her a nodded. Then I turned to Rayne.

"Do you want to come up anyways?" I asked. Even though he was a bit of a jerk I still wanted to be polite.

"Well, I don't want to stay down here." he snapped. I nodded and turned walking back up the stairs.

Damon was standing at the top of the stairs when I walked out and immediately grabbed my wrist pulling me along towards the dinning room.

The dinning room was huge. It was about the size of small ballroom. There was a large chandelier hanging from the ceiling with sparkly jewels hanging off of it. There was a long mahogany table that stretched three quarters of the length of the room. The table was off to the side of the room leaving most of the floor empty. There was a grand piano in the far corner but it looked like it was covered in dust. The whole set up made me want to get dressed up in a big hoop skirt with my hair all done up and dance with an attractive man in a tuxedo.

Demitri and Isabelle had seated themselves next to each other and were in an intense conversation. Ian sat on the other side of them staring at the wall. Damon dragged me to the end of the table and sat me down next to him. There was already a plate with two pieces of pizza on it and I grabbed a slice and started eating immediately. I heard Damon and Demitri chuckle at the same time. I looked up.

"What?" I asked after I had chewed and swallowed.

"Hungry much?" Demitri asked teasingly. I stuck my tongue out at him as I took another huge bite out of my pizza. He laughed again then turned back to Isabelle. Alex finally walked in and sat next to me. When she first sat down there wasn't a plate or pizza but three seconds later she had a plate with two slices of pizza, too. I gasped and then Damon smirked at me.

"Hey Dria." I said. She glared at me while taking a polite bite out of her pizza. Since she hated being called Alex I thought I would make up a new nickname for her.

"I hate you." She joked after she swallowed. I smiled at her and playfully punched her.

"What's wrong with Dria?" I asked.

"Come on that sounds nasty. Your close though, please just call me Andria." She pleaded. I smiled at her. She had been trying to get us to call her Andria for three years but we always refused because it was short enough to be a nickname. But, I decided since we were surrounded by people with exotic names she deserved it,

"Fine, Andria." I said. She smiled at me really big and gave me an awkward one arm hug.

"I love you, too, Pami!" She exclaimed. That set off a whole new wave of laughter between the boys, including Ian.
