Dark Horizons
Chapter twenty :D
"He's in my head!" I shouted. Ian and Damon both looked at me like I was insane.
"Pam, who's in your head?" Ian asked sounding concerned. After I heard Ian say it I realized I sounded crazy and shook my head.
"No one, I'm just hearing things." I said. Ian and Damon looked at each other and sighed. A sudden burst of pain ripped through my chest and I hunched over.
"Jesus!" I hollered as I fell to the floor. Ian ran to my side.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Well, I just fell to the floor in pain, what do you think?" I snapped. The feeling had died down but I was still left with an after burn.
"Sorry. You might want to go to sleep." He said to me. I gave him and look and he looked at Damon who nodded. I opened my mouth to say something but another burst shot through me, shaking my whole body and leaving me with a headache. Ian picked me up and started carrying me.
"Whats going on?" I asked.
"You need to go to sleep. The transformation." He said. It was very vague but I didn't push the issue because my head as throbbing. I thought I already went through "The Transformation" I threw Damon across a room and bit a boy.
"Your still human on the inside. Just sleep." He said as he carried me into the room. 'No one ever said that the transformation was outside, inside' I thought to myself. Another shot of pain rushed through me as Ian placed me on the bed.
"How can I go to sleep?" I asked referring the ripples of pain going through me.
"Because, I'm telling you to." He smirked at me. At first I didn't understand but then he sank down to my eye level and I knew what he was going to do.
"Pam," he started in a commanding voice, looking me deep in the eyes,"your going to go to sleep and stay asleep for twelve hours no matter what." He said. His pupils dialated back and forth (A/N I don't really know how to say the pupil getting bigger then smaller so haha deal with my weird wording :P)
"Only if you stay with me." I murmured tiredly. As much I wanted to stay awake my eyes began drooping and I became instantly relaxed. Ian smiled at me and took me hand, giving it a gentle squeeze.
"Anything for my best friend, I lo-" I fell asleep while he was talking.
I knew I was dreaming but I was still feeling effects of where it was set, I was standing in a meadow and it was snowing lightly. I shivered and felt someone throw a jacket over me. I turned around and was met by a stunning pair of greenish blue eyes that are hard to forget.
"I thought you were dead." I snapped.
"I thought you were dead." He replied putting emphasis on you.
"You didn't kill me, almost, but my friends found me." I smiled. He looked taken aback but didn't say anything for a second.
"Put the jacket on, why did you dream snow?" He asked. I realized it was really cold and noticed I was wearing a sheer tank top and short Jean shorts. I shivered again and pulled the jacket on. It fell to my knees and smelled like citrus.
"I like snow. It's pure, calm, peaceful." I commented letting a snow flake fall gently onto my hand. I smiled.
"Thats great." He said. I could tell he was rolling his eyes. He shouldn't have been there, though. It was his own fault.
"What are you doing here? And why are you being nice?" I questioned. He looked at me for a second and then started laughing at some unheard joke.
"I can be wherever I want to be. Your little friend gave me that choice when he killed me." He sneered. I noticed that he didn't answer my second question.
