Chapter 8(<-my favorite number)

"Oh, um. Jello shots." Damon manages to say after we stare at each other for a good five minutes. The way he said it didnt really have me convinced but it made sense.

"Thats cool. How'd you get them around Cristmas? Blood Jell-O shots are a Halloween thing." I asked. Last Halloween my mom let me and alex fly down to Florida for Halloween Horror Nights, while we were waiting in line a zombie nurse was selling "blood bags" they looked so real that I was scared they were really murdering the people there and taking there blood for the shots. Of course Alex laughed at me.

"I have connections?" he answered moving slowly towards a garbage can in the corner. He didn't take his eyes off of me as he threw the bag away.

"oh, your so addicted to fake blood you had to find connections to get it? That's sad." I teased. He looked at me unsurely.

"Yea, it's a problem. Demitri has it too."

"Demitri has what?" demitri asked as he walked in. He was barefoot, shirtless, and wearing lime green pajama pants.

"An adiction to Jell-O blood shots, just like me." Damon answered quickly giving demitri a look that said 'agree with me or else.'

"Oh yea. It's a problem." demitri said nodding to Damon as he walked to the fridge and grabbed a "blood bag" from the fridge. He ripped of the top and drank from the bag.

"Have some class demitri!" Damon snapped. Demitri waved his hand to dismiss Damons comment.

"Who are you my mother?" he asked wiping his face.

"You two are dorks. Do you have anything for normal people?" I asked. They shook there heads. "What do you eat?" I asked.

"Jell-O." they said simultaniously.

"I can't imagine that's healthy." I commented, they shrugged.

"I'll go to the store and pick up some stuff for you." demitri volunteered and he charged out of the room.

"thanks!" I yelled.

"You know we don't actually live off Jell-O, right? We were just kidding. We just moved in so we don't have much." Damon said. It made much more sense. I smiled at him.

"I kinda figured you can't live off alcoholic Jell-O." I joked. He nodded then walked off. There was a weird feeling in my stomach, I felt like they were hiding something from me. I walked into the living room and layed down.

Damon walked in and sat by my feet. He looked different, he scared me. Both of his eyes were dark red. His hair was bright white and he couldn't cover the fangs that were coming out of his mouth.

"Forgive me but I haven't had it fresh in so long." he said leaning towards me. I went to scream but he covered my mouth quickly. "No reason to scream and cause more trouble, is there?" he asked mockingly. I shook my head. "Good." he said. Then he closed the distance between him and my neck. It started as a kiss, then a nibble, then he bit. It stung, his hand in my mouth fell and I screamed.

"Pam?!" I heard Damon yell. He was shaking me. I sat up and looked around. Everything seemed normal and Damon was looking concerned. I must have fallen asleep, wait why was I scared again?

"Whats wrong?" Damon asked.

"Bad dream, i think or thought or...er...i actually don't know." I stamered in reply. I looked around. The room was going in and out of focus.
