Twenty second shot

Wedding Day.

This is the day that every woman dreams of- her wedding day. When she was a little girl, she used to plan these stuff with her girlfriends all day long, picturing it to be "picture perfect wedding". Everyone has a dream of what they want their wedding to be and for Kershia and Von it is a church wedding. The two chose the church that is memorable to both of them, the church that witnessed their love back in college and the church that they chose is none other than Gesu. Kershia and Von invited only the people who are close to them, mostly their relatives and friends. The church was filled with pink and blue roses and guests were wearing blue bowtie for the boys and pink scarf for the girls.

The singer started singing as soon as the church's door opened, Von was patiently waiting for Kershia in the altar then the flower girls, ring bearer started walking down the aisle followed by the brides maid, maid of honor, grooms men and best man. Von was teary eyed as he waits for his bride.

Kershia's tears were freely flowing from her eyes as she walks down the aisle but she couldn't hide her smile at the same time. She was looking straight at his groom when her dad suddenly spoke.

"I still couldn't believe that I'll be giving your hands now to Von. Always remember that even though that you are already married I will still always be here for you and you will always be my little princess."
Kershia smiled at her dad, "Thanks Daddy, I'll always be your little girl but I guess few months from now mapapalitan na ko."
Daniel laughed, "I think so. I'm really excited to see my apo na."
"I love you, Daddy!"
"I love you, too, Princess!"

Daniel handed his daughter's hand to Von then he gave him a genuine smile.

"Von, please take good care of my princess, make her your queen. Don't hurt and make her cry or else... I will take her away from you."
"I promise to take good care of her and I will do my very best to not hurt her or even make her cry, sir."
"I hope you will keep your promise. Congratulations guys!"

"We are gathered here today to unite these two people in marriage. The essence of this commitment is the acceptance of each other in entirety, as lover, companion and best friend. Marriage, ideally, is a sharing of responsibilities, hopes and dreams. It takes a special effort to grow together, survive hard times and be loving and unselfish." the priest started.

The priest looked at them both, "Von and Kershia, have you come here freely and without reservation to give yourself to each other in marriage? Will you honor each other as man and wife for the rest of your lives? And will you accept lovingly children from God and bring them up according to the law of Christ and his church?"
