Final Shot

Twenty fourth Shot

Von woke up with a huge smile on his face as he stared lovingly at his wife, she was sleeping soundly. He carefully tucked some loose hairstrands behind her ear then he caressed her beautiful face. Von was really thankful to have her as his other half.

"Good morning, love!" Von whispered on her ear then he gave her a quick kiss on her cheek, "Wake up na sleepyhead."
Kershia stretched out her arms then she smiled sweetly at her husband, "Good morning, daddy!"

Kershia and Von cuddled while they were planning their dinner date. Today is their ninth wedding monthsary. They both decided to celebrate it at Antonio's in Tagaytay.

"Aren't you going to office today?" Kershia questioned her husband, he never told her about having a vacation leave.
Von shook his head, "Nope, I'm on leave. I have to make it up to you. We didn't get to celebrate last month eh."
Kershia beamed at him, "Hmmm... You really love me that much, huh? Thank you and I love you!" then she passionately kissed him on his lips, "Happy ninth month, bubbah!"
Von looked intently at her eyes, "Always remember that I love you so much and also our baby. No matter what happens, it will always be you.
Kershia's brows furrowed, "Why do I feel that you are bidding good bye to me? C'mon love, tell me what's wrong?"
Von chuckled then he pinched her cheek, "Silly! Why would I even bid good bye to you? Hay, you're overthinking things again."
Kershia just shrugged her shoulder, "Anyway, what's the result of your tests?"
Von was caught off guard with her inquiry, he did not see that one coming. He sighed heavily before he answered her question, "The result was okay, I am physically fit. I told you I was just exhausted during those weeks."
Kershia smiled, "Good to hear that. I guess we should get our asses off of this bed now and start prepping up for our date. It's gonna be a long drive."
"Yeah, right."
"You go take a bath first, bubbah." Kershia said as she puts on her bathrobe, "I'll prepare our breakfast."

Von went to the bathroom and took a bath. Half an hour after, he prepared a blue maxi dress on their bed then he left a sticky note on it.

Kershia,
Do you still remember this dress? My first gift to you as your husband. Please wear this, I want us to have matchy outfit today ;) I love you.

Right after he left the note on the dress, he rushed to the kitchen and found his wife cooking their breakfast. He came near her and he gave her a tight hug from behind.

"Aren't you finish yet?" he asked then he burried his face on her neck, "I really love your smell. It calms me down."
Kershia slowly turned her back to meet his face, "And why are you suddenly being so sweet to me?"
Von grinned at her, "I just want to do some random things to say I love you."
Kershia's face turned crimson red, "I love you, too!" she answered, "Have a seat na, breakfast is ready in a minute."

Von fished out his phone from his pocket and took a photo of his wife while she was cooking their food then he shared it on his social networking account.

"@von19: waking up every morning with this woman on my side is the best thing ever. Happy ninth, @KershaMarq  😘"

Kershia prepared a simple breakfast, she cooked fried rice, bacon, eggs and hotdog. The typical filipino breakfast. She puts rice and bacon on his plate and also prepared his coffee.

"Bubbah, umupo ka na dito. I can take care of myself."
Kershia smiled and just continued what she was doing, "Nah, I want to do this. This is my role as your wife. And besides, it's our special day."
"Fine. Fine." Von said then he shook his head in defeat, "Just make it fast."

Kershia headed to their room right after having breakfast with Von to prep up for their date. She was surprised to see her dress on their bed, she took the sticky note on her dress and read it. Kershia can't help but smile upon reading the note that Von left.
