Fifteenth Shot

Flashback.

"You look sad." Laura said to Von then she sat on the vacant seat beside him, "Girl problem?"

He nodded at her, "Yeah, I really can't understand girls. Girls are complicated."

"Not all girls are complicated, Von." Laura defended, "Have you talked to her na ba?"

He shook his head quickly, "Why would I even talk to her? It was crystal clear to me, Lau, she broke her promise."

"Go tell me the whole story, I'll listen."

Von told her the whole story from the tweet and Instagram post that he saw down to what happened in their hotel in Iloilo. Laura was kinda annoyed with what he did to Kershia, she's also a girl and she knows how it felt to be treated that way.

"She made an effort to fix things, man!" Laura blurted out, "Don't be so stupid to let her go, Von. She loves you so much."

"But she broke her promise." Von answered.

Laura raised her eyebrow, "I think once in your life you also broke your promise to your best friend. Quits lang."

Von sighed and frowned, "Worse than that. She almost died because of me."

"See? But she have forgiven you." Laura replied, "I'm not sure what you are feeling, Von. I don't know if it's jealousy or you are just afraid to lose her."

He glanced at her, "I think it's a combination of both. I am jealous because Thomas got to spend time with her while I was in Iloilo and I am afraid to lose her to him at the same time. They had a past, so there's a possibility that they could get back together."

"Don't you trust her?" Laura asked him in her most serious tone, "You wouldn't feel that in the first place if you trust her enough."

"I trust her, Lau." He quickly answered, "It's the guy that I don't trust."

Laura gave him a quick pat on the back, "Go talk to her, Von. Girls have a soft heart, just apologize and everything will be fine."

"I don't know where to start, Lau." Von answered, "Can you help me?"

"Yeah, sure!"

Von and Laura decided to talk things while having snack, they were walking along Katipunan to find a place to dine at and they were laughing like there's no tomorrow when they bumped into Kershia and Bianca. Von looked at Kershia but he immediately looked away when he saw her glanced at him. Von tried his very best not to hug her even though he misses her so bad.

"She's sad and angry at the same time." Laura said, "I can tell it just by looking at her eyes."

"I want to hug her, Lau." Von whispered.

"Go do it." Laura quickly answered.

Von shook his head, "You said she looks angry, baka awayin lang ako niyan."

"Ang labo mo!" Laura commented, "Let's go."

After few steps, Laura looked back and saw Kershia and Bianca entered Zark's.

"They're in Zarks." Laura said, "Zark's rin tayo?"

Von's brows furrowed, "Are you sure?"

Laura nodded, "Yeah, of course!"

"Should I talk to her na ba?" Von asked her, "I badly miss that loud annoying girl."

Laura hit his arm, "You should not call her loud annoying girl. Hello, she's your girl kaya!"
