Sixteenth Shot

After the UAAP games, MVP decided to throw a party for the athletes of all the sports. The theme of the party was Prom, he wanted all the athletes to remember their high school memories and how happy they were back then.

"Kershia!!" Therese shouted, "Von is already here. Make it fast!"

"One more minute, mom!" Kershia shouted back.

Von was on his phone when Kershia walked down the stairs, his mouth was literally open while watching her. She was wearing a white long gown then she paired it with a nude sequenced heels and clutch.

"Beautiful." he murmured.

"How do I look?" Kershia asked him.

Von smiled, "You look wonderful tonight, bubbah."

"Thank you!" she answered, "So shall we?"

Von stood up from his seat, "Let's take a picture first before we leave." he said then handed his phone to Kershia's mom, "Tita, can you take us a picture?"

"Of course! Of course!" Therese answered quickly.

Von gently pulled her closer to him then he placed his hand on her waist and he smiled on the camera, he was never this happy in his entire life.

"Princess, let's take a selfie!" Von said.

Kershia's brows furrowed, "Since when did you learn how to take a selfie?"

Von laughed out loud, "Just recently. I still don't know how to take a decent selfie though."

It was Kershia's turn to laugh, "Let me be the one to take our selfie, I don't want to look fat or what. Di ka marunong maghanap ng tamang angle eh."

Von frowned, "Mean."

Kershia gave her a quick hug, "I'm mean to you because I love you."

Von pinched his nose, "You're making me fall for you even more because of your weirdness."

Kershia borrowed his phone then she took a selfie with him and Von on the other hand immediately shared it to his Instagram account with a caption: Ready for the ball. I'm sure my date is the prettiest tonight! #bias #MVProm.

Before leaving Kershia's house, Von took out the corsage that he brought then he wore it to Kershia's wrist.

"Perfect." he said, "Matchy corsage."

"You're so gay!" Kershia commented.

"But you love me." then he stucked his tongue out.

"Whatever!"

Von's driver drove them to Makati Shangri-la. As soon as they arrived in the hotel, they saw Kiefer and Mika in the lobby waiting for them.

"Finally, the couple of the year has arrived!" Kiefer said while giving his best friend a fistbump.

"Bro, it's so traffic in EDSA!" Von said, "I thought we would be late nga."

"Others aren't here pa naman." Kiefer replied, "So how are you guys doing? Are guys having fights parin everyday?"

Kershia shifted his gaze at Kiefer, "How'd you know that we had fights almost everyday?!"

Kershia slapped Von's arm, "Sumbongero!"

Kiefer laughed, "That's because I'm his bestest friend, Kersh. Make him cry and I'll make your life a living hell."

"WOW HA!" Kershia retorted, "Ako pa talaga magpapaiyak jan. Why don't we count the times that HE made me cry?" then she raised her eyebrow.
