Fifth Shot

Everyone's worried about Kershia, the whole team haven't seen her for a week and she's not replying to their messages and everytime they try to call her, it's always cannot be reached.

"Von, where's Kershia?" Kiefer asked him worriedly.

Von just shrugged his shoulders, "It's been a month since the last time that I got a message from her, it's you and Fonzo she's always with di ba? Bakit sa'kin mo siya hinahanap ngayon?"

Kiefer closed his fist trying to calm himself, "Oo nga pala sino nga ba naman si Kershia para mag-alala ka, hindi nga pala siya si Janine. Kami nga lang pala ni Fonzo ang friend niya sa team." then he turned his back on him.

"You have no idea how much I care for her!" Von shouted, "Kaya wag mo akong sabihan na parang wala akong pakialam kay Kershia."

Kiefer looked back and smirked at him, "Really Von? Where were you when she needed a friend to defend her? Where were you when she needed a friend to cry on? Wala ka, kasi nandun ka sa naninira sakanya. She was there for you when you needed your best friend the most, oo yung best friend mo na laging missing in action. Siya yung mas naging best friend sa'yo pero nung ikaw na 'yung kailangan niya wala ka! Hindi kailangan magsabi or magsalita ng isang tao para malaman mo kung ano nararamdaman niya, sometimes looking straight in the eye is enough to know what she's going through."

"She pushed me away, Kief. You can't blame me." Von answered.

Kiefer shook his head in frustration, "Do you know the reason why she did that? Of course you don't. Why don't you ask your best friend? Oh wait, let me correct that... Your special girl."

"Bakit hindi ikaw ang magsabi sa'kin?" Von answered quickly, "You know the whole story, so bakit hindi nalang ikaw?"

"Gusto mo talagang malaman? Inaway lang naman ni Janine si Kershia dahil sa'yo kung ano anong paninira ang sinasabi ni kay Kershia. Lumayo siya sa'yo para walang gulo. At alam mo ba nakakainggit ka eh, nagpapangalingan kami ni Fonzo sa harap niya pero ikaw parin yung bida. Ikaw parin yung magaling para sakanya, ikaw yung MVP sa paningin niya. Gago ka Von, mahal ka ni Kershia. Nag-let go siya kasi alam niyang masaya ka kay Janine! Alam mo ba kung gaano kasakit para sakanya na tulungan ka niyang i-surprise yung karibal niya sa puso mo? Hindi, kasi wala kang alam yung sarili mo lang iniisip mo. Ang selfish mo!"

Von was speechless. He was just staring at Kiefer and trying to absorb everything. Kiefer on the other hand was staring intently at him and waiting for an answer.

Kiefer was about to leave the gym when his phone suddenly rang- a call from Mika. He answered his phone and still staring at Von.

"Hello Kief, tinanong ko si Thomas kung alam niya address ni Kershia and luckily alam niya, I went to her house today and I found out that she's in the hospital." Mika said.

"WHAT?!"

"KIEFER! KIEFER!" Fonzo shouted while running, "I KNOW WHERE SHE IS NA!"

"Are you in the hospital right now, Mika?" Kiefer asked her worriedly.

"Yeah, come here na guys."

"Okay, I'll call you when we get there. Bye!"

"WHAT HAPPENED TO KERSHIA?!" Von asked, worry and frustration are evident on his voice.

No one bothered answering his inquiry, Fonzo and Kiefer both ran to the parking lot and rushed to the hospital.

"Fonzo, what happened to her?" Kiefer asked.
