To Charlotte, it felt as if days or weeks had passed, but to the rest of the world, it has only been one night. She returned to her dorm that afternoon from the studio greeted by Jessica the moment the young woman had unlocked the door. She noticed an odd aura in the room and she showed her friend care immediately.

"You look so tired, Char," Jessica stated as Charlotte sat down at her desk. She stayed silent as she placed the brown bag on her lap, pulling out all her found items.

"I may have stayed up a little longer than I should have," Charlotte responded with a chuckle.

"So what was the studio like? Did you actually go inside? Was it haunted?"

Charlotte glanced over to the Bendy plush as she thought about her answer. As much as she wanted to tell Jess everything, she felt it wasn't best to be seen as crazy. She wanted time to still figure out her life, especially what she was to do with it now. She wasn't just a musician like her uncle anymore, she was an artist like her father, a singer like her aunt, and even a woman of ideas like her grandfather. For a moment, she even considered therapy. She shook her head at the thought.

"It was certainly a creepy place," she responded, turning around to face her friend, "As much as a several years old abandoned building can be. I found these things just laying about the floor, the music was nice, it's a part of history, as well as the art. I'll admit, I recognized the posters; I suppose I didn't really think about the show for a while that it didn't really come to mind the first time."

Luckily it was the weekend that day, so Jessica and Charlotte could safely talk for hours about the old cartoons. Jess was even able to find some very old shorts that were leaked online, and they spent a few hours watching them together, laughing together. It was nice. Charlotte couldn't remember the last time her and Jess really acted like close friends, the young woman has always been so focused on her work the whole time she was in school. She was reminded of her father with all those hard days back at the studio, she paid no mind to him much back then while she had all that free time to play.

Evening fell before the two of them noticed, their binge interrupted by Jessica's phone buzzing. A text from her boyfriend. Jess hugged Charlotte as she got up from the couch to leave the room. Charlotte turned off the TV and stared at the black screen for a while, reminded of the ink, reminded of Bendy. She felt tears forming in her eyes at the thought. She wiped them quickly and went back to her desk, flipping through the pages of old music and art as well as her school work. She was reminded more and more of Sammy by the second; the way they expressed their voice and thought through music were very similar.

A small folded paper slipped from between the worn pages of her past. She picked it up and opened it, and her Grandfather's words spoke back to her in her mind.

"You remember your life now, you remember us, now it's time you do something with it. It's time to believe that your dreams can come true."

This address was only 30 mins away from her school. It would be easy to see where this lead sometime tomorrow.

Her car pulled into the gravel driveway and she viewed the modern-style house in front of her. Whoever was living her was certainly living a good life. Did Joey know them back in the day? How old was this person. Was this a prank? The Joey she saw didn't look like a man who would deceit or trick people anymore, not like back in the studio days. She quickly address before turning off the car and stepping out. She observed the neighbourhood she was in, the houses were all roughly the same, and the noise was calm and peaceful. It was nice. She walked up the steps and stood in front of the wooden door, there were no windows in the front of the house. She took a moment to think again, but knocked on the door before her feet had the chance to run away. A minute later, the door unlocks and swings open, revealing a lady, only about in her thirty's, looking down at Charlotte with a smile.

"Can I help you?" the lady asked with a soft, kind voice.

"I'm sorry to disturb you, ma'am, but did you know a man by the name of Joey Drew?"

The lady's smile grew and she laughed an angelic laugh. She opened the door wider, gladly inviting the young woman inside.

"Of course, come on in. I was wondering when you would show, it was only a matter of time."

"How did you know him?"

She laughs again.

"It's a complicated story, but one I will love to share with you, if you would return the favour. What's your name?"

"It's Charlotte. Charlotte Stein. What about you?"

"My name is Audrey. Audrey Drew."
