A/n this is my first story hope you like it ;). This is the edited version, but it says basically the same info, so you don't have to read it again.
Riley's pov
I can hear my heart beating through my chest as I'm waiting for Miss Kate to call on my name to audition for A-troupe. Nervous doesnt even begin to describe how I feel. There's a put in my stomach.
"James," She calls, and I can't help but blush as he starts dancing. I don't know why though, he's a player that flirts with all the girls. But there is a part of me that likes him. I'm trying to get over him, I'll get my heart broken if I dont. For now, I just hope nobody notices.
"Riley, why are you blushing like that?" Stephanie asks me, shaking her shoulders and smirking. I freeze. That's just my luck!
"Riley wouldn't fall for something like that, isn't that right, Riley?" Emily says, more like a statement than a question.
I nod quickly and say, "Yeah, totally."
Even though, that's clearly a lie.Stephanie and the others are about to object further, when Miss Kate calls on me.
James pov
I hear Riley's name being called when I finish my dance, and a smile appears on my face. I really like her. I somehow always have, but I realised that she was special to me, ano a week ago. She was the reason I broke up with Beth. Her cute personality, and those eyes that could hipnotize me. Riley put me in a trance. I was whipped.
I watched dance, and it just made me like her more. The way she expresses every emotion on the floor like that is just amazing. She's amazing. I get snapped out of my day dream as she finished her dance, and someone else's name is called.
I decide to approach her.
"Hey, Riley." I say smoothly.
"Oh, hi." She says, still panting.
"You were awesome out there." I smile, she blushes and smiles too.
"Thanks, you were really good too." She says almost in a whisper. I can tell she's nervous, by the way she's running her arm.
"Are you coming with us to Squeezed, Riley?" Emily practically screamed. Ugh, sometimes I swear I hated her.
"Um.. yeah. Bye James." Riley said, shooting me an apologetic look before leaving with the rest of the E-girls. I smiled and waved. Thanks for ruining the moment, Emily!
I sighed, walked up to my friends and we started talking. West, Eldon and Daniel are my best friends. No, even better, they're my boys. We started talking about anything and everything. It started off with who we thought would make it to A troupe, then to girls, I didn't talk about Riley though. She's too special. The topic soon elevated to food.
Somehow, we always ended up talking about food. But that's just us. The boys.
