Kayla's pov
Gabby and Niall just started up the dunes. I run through the water as Liam chases me deeper and deeper. I stop when I reach my knees. "Too scared to go deeper?" Liam says playfully. "I don't wanna get my dress too wet."I retort, smirking. "I guess I'll just have to carry you then." Liam says smirking also.
Before I can say anything Liam wraps his arms around my waist and lifts me up, forcing me to cling to his neck. Not that I mind. I wrap my legs around his waist and raise my eyebrow. He walks deeper into the water and I furrow my eyebrows at Harry, sitting in the sand. Sure El is there, but he still looks lonely.
"What's wrong?" Liam notices. "I just feel bad for both of them..." I say. "You seem to always be worried about them. How do you have time to worry about your own love life?" He jokes. "I don't." I say touching my forehead to his. He beams at me. "Good. You shouldn't." He takes a couple of steps backwards and sets me down in the shallower water.
He rubs the back of his neck nervously. "Look... I know I haven't known you for that long... But I really like you. And I was wondering if you would maybe wanna- would you be my girlfriend?" He blurts out. I smile and bite my bottom lip happily. "Of coarse!" I say. His body relaxes and his lips pull up into a huge grin. He closes the gap between us and kisses me softly on the lips.
"Get a room!" Harry shouts jokingly. Liam gives him an annoyed look, but I laugh. El sits next to him giggling. I lean down and cup my hands, letting them fill with water. I run over to Harry and dump the cold water on his head. "Hey!" He whines. "Stop being such a grumpy butt!" I laugh at him as he attempts to wipe the water out of his hair. I smile at his messy curls and plop down next to him and El. I lean back and relax in the sun.
Liam splashes Harry with water and they both run into the ocean, having a full on water fight. I glance at the dune and can just barely make out two dots, Gabby and Niall. I wonder how they're doing, but then decide not to worry. I relax in the sun with El and listen to the waves, along with the shouts and laughs of the boys.
