Unknown POV

I had finally arrived in Tennessee where my wolf said her aura can be felt the strongest, but the problem was I am sitting on the edge of the biggest pack of werewolves in the world 's territory. You have got to be kidding me, I stated to my wolf. This is Alpha Aries territory. If we get caught here, there will be no escaping. My wolf groaned internally. I know that, but the time is coming and fast. We need to find her soon. He reminded me. She is there. I can feel her.

I rolled my eyes of course she is. I was in my wolf form trying to mentally prepare myself to trespass into this territory. I have heard from various rogues I had met over the years that Alpha Aries was not one to cross. He is said to be ruthless, cunning, and most of all swift in judgement concerning rogues in his territory. If I make it to her in this territory, then what? I questioned my wolf. How will we convince her of who we are? My wolf sighed, Have you learned nothing? Our mother will help us convince her. He replied. Now quit procrastinating and let's go find her. The werewolf race is counting on us. I knew my wolf was right, so I masked my scent and took off at a run into Black Blood territory.

Twyla's POV

I had dived into the water, feeling the cold rush on my skin. The sensation was amazing. Chloe and I had been out here for over two hours know, and I was not tiring much at all. We had competed in holding our breaths underwater to swimming laps in the pool. I haven't had this much fun in so long that I had almost forgotten what it felt like. Chloe caught me off guard as I was laying on my back floating on the water. She came up and started splashing me, instantly surprised I jumped before I started splashing back. We both started laughing so hard our sides hurt. We crawled out of the water to go lay out on the lawn chairs. I really needed a tan especially after how long I have been cooped up inside. " Twyla, can I ask you a question?" Chloe asked. I opened my eyes and looked at her, she had a very serious look on her face. " Sure Chloe." I stated. " How did you deal with being locked up and being treated so badly by your old pack for so long?" She questioned looking troubled. I sighed. " I was grieving after the death of both my parents. Samuel being my dad's beta somehow convinced the pack it was my fault that my parents were killed. So still not caring, the pack forced me to be the omega and beat me into being a slave for them." I said grimly. Chloe held her hand over her mouth in shock. " That is horrible. " I shrugged my shoulders. " Its ok. Aries found me and know my life is amazing." I smiled. We both fell into silence, just enjoying the warm breeze and sunshine.

Suddenly there was a loud roar, and the back Victorian doors flew open. There stood Aries, his eyes black, growling low he stomped over to where Chloe and I were sitting. " Twyla in the house know!! " He ordered in his alpha tone. My face dropped in shock. He just used the Alpha tone on me. I couldn't believe my ears. Aries face was now faltering after realizing what he just did. Tears streaming down my face, I jumped up and ran into the house passed Aries, and up to our room locking myself in the bathroom. I sat back against the wall and started sobbing. How could he? He ordered me and treated me like Samuel had. He actually scared me, and know I was beginning to get angry. I am not an omega, but his Luna, his mate. How dare he? Yes, how dare he order us, my wolf growled, anger radiating. We are his mate. I was seeing red, my mate ordered me like a child. Slowly I started to shift, rage filling my core.

Aries POV

I stood by the pool flabbergasted by what I had just done. I had been inside my office when Seth had come in laughing. " What is so funny?" I questioned, looking up from my paperwork. "Our mates are something. " He laughed. I smiled shaking my head. Being Chloe, it didn't surprise me that she and Twyla had hit it off so well. " What are they up too?" I asked. Seth's face became serious. " They are out back in the pool swimming." He stated.

I jumped up from my chair instantly furious. My wolf was already on edge due to Samuel being loose. Why was she outside? Her being in danger made my wolf crazy. All I was seeing was red as I stormed past Seth and out back to the pool. My wolf was in control, and I couldn't stop myself as I watched in horror. I yelled in my Alpha tone and ordered Twyla in the house. Her face was agape in shock tears streaming down her face, before she took off at a run into the house.

Chloe broke me out of my stupor as I was running the events through my head. " Aries why would you do that? We were just swimming." She declared. I turned and gave her a look of despair, knowing I had screwed up. " I am scared for her safety Chloe, with Samuel loose he could be anywhere, and I know he wants to hurt or kill Twyla. " I said, rubbing my face. " And I can't lose her. She is my life know." Chloe sighed." Well Aries I hate to tell you; you may have just lost her." She said, walking over to Seth who was standing in the doorway watching intently. He hugged her and I knew Chloe was right I may have just lost the love of my life. I ran off into the house following Twyla's scent. It led me up to our room, the bathroom was locked, and I could hear sobbing. That tore my heart because I knew what Twyla had already been thru with her old pack. I walked over to the bathroom door and took a deep breath. " Princess, can you come out? " I asked. She just kept sobbing. " Twyla please." I begged. It suddenly got very quiet, and I waited a few minutes. No other sound came thru, and instantly I became worried. I broke the handle on the door. I expected to see Twyla lying on the floor crying, but what I saw I never expected. Twyla had shifted into her wolf form, and she was angry. She was standing back against the wall her eyes red, growling, teeth bared and fur bristling.
