Chapter 7

hey guys i know its been awhile...but heres the knew chapter...lets see what aries does to samuel:)

Twyla' s POV

I was pacing the small six-foot-long bedroom I had been occupying for these last four days. Aries had said that I had to stay in this room until I was well enough for us to have a pack meeting. Until then my pack still saw me as the omega and blamed me for the fall of Alpha Samuel. Aries kept one of his fighters at guard at my bedroom door at all times. He never left for very long, but I had constant movies and books to read. I had loved going to the movies before my parent's death, but after the incident I hadn't seen one since. So being able to lay around and not lift a finger was nice, but my body wasn't accustomed to this, and I was very nervous and agitated most times of these long days, but that was only until Aries was around and my wolf would calm dramatically.

While my wolf was calm around Aries I myself was not I was very wary of him. I know of what my wolf had said, but I don't know if I can trust much less love again. I will probably just get my mate killed like I did my parents. I'm so confused with my feelings right now, after taking a shower in the bathroom I looked at myself naked in the full-length mirror on the wall. I was far from pretty in my eyes, but it shocked me how in just a few short days how my bruises had nearly disappeared. They were yellowish but my bones had healed with the help of the doctor. He was the only one who I had allowed to touch me from my pack in the last two years. I still didn't trust him though Aries would have to hold me when the doctor examined me. The last time that was, he told Aries that I should be fully healed in another couple of days. I just had to make sure I ate regularly and drink a lot of water. I walked into the bedroom and dressed slowly. My bruises may have started disappearing, but my joints still hurt beyond belief. After getting dressed I heard the door open, I didn't jump because I knew from the wonderful scent it was my mate. He didn't try to approach me he was giving me time to trust him. " Twyla are you OK? " He questioned sweetly. I turned to face him and nodded. Aries slowly walked over to me and ran his thumb and forefinger over my jaw down to my lips. " You are so beautiful." I looked up and saw Aries looking at me with love in his eyes and for the first time in two long years I felt a glimmer of hope.

Aries Pov

I couldn't believe it she smiled, for the first time in a day or two. My wolf actually purred at that. " Thank you it's been a long time since I've heard that, " she replied, her smile fading. " I only speak the truth. " I stated. I walked over to the bed and motioned for her to sit beside me. Twyla eyed me warily before taking a seat. I sighed deeply. " Twyla, I hate to do this, but we are going to have to have the pack meeting tomorrow. " She looked at me confused. "But why?" she whispered. I hated telling her this because I knew she was fragile. "The pack is in an uproar, and they need to see we are mates, and you are not an omega but their leader. You are my mate first and foremost and your safety is always first in my mind. No one will hurt you I promise or better not even look at you cross eyed, or I will dismember them piece by piece "I responded. Twyla was silent for a while and then she nodded. "OK. .as long as you promise to stay with me at all times. " She mumbled. I slowly brought my face to her ear. "Wild Wolves couldn't keep me away. "I whispered. Twyla closed her eyes, and she shivered not out of fear, but out of lust and I knew she was starting to fall for me.

Twyla's Pov

I breathed slowly in my nose and out my mouth. I stood by the bedroom door preparing myself to follow Aries down to the conference room for the pack meeting. It's OK Twyla we can do this. We are the true Leader of this pack and it's time to prove it, my wolf whispered. I nodded to myself, and with a shaking hand I open the door. Aries was patiently standing against the wall on the other side. He had a concerned look on his face. He moved close to me, but still gave me the space I needed. "Are you OK? he questioned. I nodded yes and gave him a small smile. Talking still wasn't my thing since people had acted like I hadn't existed for so long. "You are so beautiful princess. " He kissed the top of my forehead. I looked at my sexy mate he was wearing tight wrangler blue jeans, and a white tee that seemed like it was molded to him showing his sexy abs. While all I am wearing is black leggings, a blue tank, and cowgirl boots. I shrank back feeling less than worthy to be this sexy Alphas mate. This was before he offered his arm to me. "Ready my lady. "I slowly ran my arm through his and the tingling sensation was back.

Aries led me down the staircase to the big conference room. As soon as I saw the backs of the people in the room, I froze. Aries took my shoulders and made me face him. "Twyla, I promise. I am not going to let them hurt you. " He stated softly. "OK. " I whispered. Aries took my arm again and we made our way to the stage in the conference room. Aries ' men stayed on either side of us as we walked into the stage. I could feel ice cold stares and I thought I heard some growls the entire time.

On stage I finally was able to get the confidence I needed to look up and face the stares. I was frozen until I felt my wolf take over. I was sure my eyes were black as I began to speak. Aries' eyes were solely on me as he stood in a protective stance over me. My voice was loud and commanding. "Dark moon I realize that in the past two years since my parent's death you have reduced me only to an omega. You have beaten and tortured me to the point of almost death. " Aries growled low at this, I placed my hand on his upper arm to calm him. I looked out at my pack and saw sorrow on some of their faces. " But my mate has found me, and he is the Alpha of the Black blood pack. I should let him terminate you all." There was an instant gasp from everyone. "But as your true Luna I am not heartless. I will not easily forgive what was done to me, but over time we will see. I am your Alpha, and this is my pack. There will be great changes coming soon, but unlike the way you have treated me I will care for you all. Our pack will be joining with black blood, and we will be relocating to Tennessee. I need everyone packed and ready to leave at Sunrise tomorrow. But be warned cross me or my mate ...your other Alpha. and we won't hesitate to tear that person limb from limb. Thank you. "

There was dead silence, but slowly one person started clapping before it turned into a great roaring applause. I looked up at Aries and smiled. He was giving me a loving look which I returned wholeheartedly. Soon everyone started eating and Aries slowly led me outside to the gazebo my father had built. "You were absolutely amazing princess. You are a wonderful Luna, and I can't wait to have our packs together tomorrow." he said, holding my hand. I loved his touch, everything about my mate seemed perfect. His face became a mask of uncertainty. "What is it? " I asked cautiously. Aries looked me straight in the eye. " Twyla, may I kiss you?" he asked. Not answering I grinned before leaning up and pressing my lips to his. Aries was frozen at first, but before long we were both fighting with our lips for dominance. I wrapped my hand in Aries hair kissing his lips with a vengeance. Sparks were flying and I felt more alive than I have ever have in my life. Aries picked me up and wrapped my legs around his waist while slipping his tongue in between my lips. Our tongues did a small dance together before I pulled away having to come up for air. Panting Aries touched his forehead gently against mine. "Wow" he said smiling.
