Sandy's Pov

I can't believe that stupid Hor Twyla. She thinks she has actually won, but my Samuel has big plans. She will never know what hit her. I was slowly approaching the dungeon, and I noticed the two guards blocking the path to the cells. I reached into my pocket and took out the special dust my Samuel had given me to use for occasions such as this. I blew the dust out of my hands toward the guards, and they both fell asleep within minutes. I approached the one guard who had the keys on his belt and slid them onto my hand. The dust would keep these idiots asleep for hours. I unlocked the main metal door that led to the cells, and slowly looked into each cell until I found the one Samuel was in. He was sitting on a cot with a smirk as he watched me through the door. " Hello my sweetness." He declared. " I was wondering when you would come to see daddy." His voice simply made my knees week. "Yes, my love. I had a hard time getting here from that stupid place they are holding our pack." I replied, seductively. Samuel stood up and approached the door of the cell. He took my face in his hand and gave me such a hot kiss. I felt like he could swallow me whole.

"Are you ready to show me how dedicated you are to me mate?" He questioned still holding my face in his hand. Yes, Samuel is my mate. He didn't want to divulge the secret to anyone until we were more powerful as a pack. But know Twyla has taken all that away from us, and we will get our revenge on her." Yes, yes, my love. You know I will do anything for you" I replied. " Good hand me those keys. " He ordered. I handed the keys thru the bars, and Samuel placed them in his pocket. "We will wait till everyone is at the ritual tonight. The whole pack will be gathered there" He said." As soon as they are all gathered at their sacred spot. Come back and we will escape together. Now go." I stepped away from the cell and slowly sneaked out the way I had come. Tonight, my mate and I will be together again.

Aries Pov

Twyla and I arrived back at the pack house around six, since the Ritual is considered a special occasion, we decided to stay in our date clothes. " Princess, I have to go with Seth to make sure everything goes smoothly with having your pack brought here. " I stated. " Chloe is going to walk with you to the sacred sight. Ok?" Twyla nodded. "I understand." I kissed the top of my mate's forehead, not wanting to leave her alone. Chloe walked up next to Twyla and waved me off. " Ok Aries. You will see her in an hour." She stated. I walked off the steps and got in the black Yukon with Seth. Dylan would make sure everyone from our pack was at the ritual site. If everyone from Twyla's Pack knew what was good for them, they had better cooperate. I will not tolerate any crap from them.

Twyla's POV

I was standing in front of the long length mirror looking back at myself. It was amazing how much better my body looked since Aries found me. The bruises had all but disappeared, and my skin was beginning to glow in a way I hadn't seen since before my parents died. .I don't usually like wearing dresses, but I had to admit I looked good. Self-confidence was good to have, I guess. I was worried about the pack meeting and the joining of mine and Aries pack. I had no doubt that Aries was a great alpha, but I was worried about myself as Luna. I failed my parents, and how did the goddess expect me to be a queen, it seemed implausible. I had to try though if not for myself then for Aries, even so he deserved so much better than me.

." Whatever negative thoughts you are thinking clear them from your mind " Chloe stated. " Tonight, you will be great." I knew my wolf was excited as well, for Aries and my pack to join as one. I would have to shift and howl with the pack under the light of the full moon as would my pack. I knew it was going to take some effort, but since I was fully healed, I hoped it wouldn't hurt much. " Thanks, I hope it does." I replied unsure." It will." she stated, taking my hand. "Let's go." I nodded before following her down the stairs and outside. It was dusk and the light was fading fast, by the time we arrived at the sacred site it would be dark.

The walk with Chloe to the sight was quiet, things that could go wrong kept running through my head. Twyla we can do this believe in yourself; my wolf stated. Darkness was finally upon us, and the moon was so bright it seemed like it was still daylight. The sacred site was gorgeous at night with the moonlight reflecting off the lake and the light streaming through the big oak it actually looked magical. Aries was waiting for me under the big oak, and Seth was standing with my pack off to one side. They all looked nervous, but surprisingly I didn't see a mean look in any of their faces. Instead, they all showed their necks in submission and reverence.

Aries came up to me and took my hand, he led me to a huge boulder that rose up out of the lake." I am going to carry you to the top." he explained, picking me up." I want you to save all your energy for your shift." I nodded. I still can't figure how he made that climb with me in his arms, but once we made it to the top, he set me down gently. I walked close to the edge looking out and gasped at all the people. With my pack members here as well as Aries, there had to be at least five hundred werewolves here if not more. Everyone was still in their human forms as of now waiting to hear Aries. He squeezed my hand smiling, before beginning his speech.

" Welcome my fellow wolves to the beginning of a new era. Black blood I have found your Luna and my true mate." The Black bloods let out a thunderous round of applause, Aries held up a hand to silence them." Dark moon tonight I will claim your Luna as my mate, and you will be become part of this pack." My pack applauded before quieting back down." From here on Black blood and Dark moon will united as one and from here on out we will be known as the Black Moon pack. "

Aries held his arm up his hand still holding mine and as soon as he did that both packs applauded thunderously. Aries silenced them once more." The moon is almost at its peak, and we need to complete the ritual. Everyone go shift and come back here in twenty minutes when the moon is at its highest." All members ran off into the woods to shift into their wolves. Aries turned to me." Twyla I'm going to let you shift first then I will follow ok. No one will look they know I can hear their thoughts and will kill them if they do, but I will turn my back so you can have some privacy" He stated. turning his back to me. I trembled nervous. Twyla let me be in control., my wolf stated, just let your mind go blank. I did as my wolf requested and just let my mind and body go numb only thinking of my wolf. At first there was nothing but in a few minutes which seemed like hours my bones started popping and breaking, it felt like my first shift all over again. I screamed it hurt so bad. Aries couldn't stand hearing me in pain, so he turned and came to my side immediately. The shift was taking far longer than it should." Twyla quit fighting your wolf. Relax I know it is hard " Aries declared, straining in his voice. I relaxed my muscles and felt my body hit the ground. I was lightheaded at first but when I looked down, I realized I no longer had hands or feet but four paws. I sat up looking to Aries and he was grinning from ear to ear. " Twyla you are stunning." He gasped.
