Twyla's Pov

Aries and I were standing in the conference room awaiting the Alphas. When I had awoke from my restful nap Aries was sitting next to me with a goofy smile on his face. I had questioned him about it, but he just pulled me in for a kiss. Shrugging it off we headed downstairs, I needed to focus on this meeting. Samuel was a cruel ruthless wolf and I know he would stop at nothing to get what he wanted. We needed to be prepared and ready to combat whatever he dishes out.

The alphas entered the room and stood behind their seats, looking to me for orders. " Please take your seats." I ordered. Everyone took their seats including Aries and myself. " Alright gentlemen. Samuel is leading the rogues to us within a couple months' time. I want all male and female wolves over the age of 18 from each pack to be on the frontlines except for mothers and children who will remain in a saferoom here in the basement. Every Alpha and beta will be positioned in front of their pack ranks. No one attacks until all rogues make themselves visible from either side. Once they do we launch attacks on all sides, do not let the rogues get their teeth or claws into your haunches or legs. If another rank needs help the alpha or beta of that rank will let out a long howl. Once each area is cleared each pack will go to the next pack closest to them and help with that area until all sides are cleared and its finished. Any questions?" I declared. Every alpha shook their heads " Ok We are dismissed."

The alphas left the room as I sat down in my chair, rubbing my head on both sides. I was trying to rid the migraine that wouldn't go away since I had awoken this morning. Aries leaned down over me looking concerned." Princess are you ok?" He asked. I looked up into his eyes and smiled. " Yes, babe I'm fine. I am just ready for this to be over. "I replied. He kissed my cheek, causing me to smile and letting out a giggle. " I'll tell you what. Come out with me to dinner tonight?" Aries exclaimed. I'm sure my face was glowing from the excitement." Are you serious another date? " I squealed. Aries laughed. " Yeah, I guess it is about time, isn't it? " I jumped out of the chair and hugged my wonderful mate. " Absolutely. I have to go tell Chloe." I said, running out of the conference room towards the kitchen leaving Aries laughing at me.

Aries Pov

I stood silently by the front door in a tux waiting, when Seth walked in. His eyes bugged out of his head looking me up and down." Dang boss where are you going looking all snazzy?" he laughed. I grinned." I am taking Twyla out for another date." Seth just shook his head and slapped me on the shoulder. " Have fun. Once they start, they don't end, I still have to take Chloe on dates at least once a week." he stated. All of a sudden Chloe was standing behind Seth hand on her hip. "Have to ?!" she questioned. Seths face fell before forcing a smile and turning around. " Baby I'm ..." Chloe held up her hand to stop him midsentence. " We will talk later." she said. I held my hand over my mouth holding in laughter. " Ok Alpha." she declared facing me." Presenting your gorgeous lifelong mate." She announced. Chloe pointed to the top of the stairs and their standing in a sexy pose was my beautiful mate. She was wearing a mini low cut v neck black dress with red heels, and she slowly made her way down to where I was standing. " She was looking down, but I pulled her chin up to where I could look her in the eyes. " You look so beautiful." I stated.

Twyla's eyes glowed with happiness. I jumped back and opened the front door. " Madam your carriage awaits." I motioned. " Let us be off." Twyla laughed, walking through the front door. After helping Twyla into the truck, I got in and drove us back into Nashville. I decided to take us back to the restaurant we had went on our first date. I walked in with Twyla on my arm and felt like the luckiest man alive. The host led us to our same private room and table, and I pulled out my mate's chair before taking a seat myself.

Twyla looked around in amazement. " We have the same private room and table. I love it." she stated. " It was my parents' favorite restaurant." I replied. The waiter came and we both placed our orders. I knew it was time to tell Twyla, I was just nervous on how to approach the subject. " Twyla, we need to talk about something." I declared. Twyla looked up from the bite from our meal that was just brought out. " What's wrong?" she questioned. A look of concern now etched on her face. " Nothing's wrong everything is right." I explained. " What do you think about us having pups?" Twyla started choking on the piece of steak that she ordered, before spitting it out. " What?! ...Aries not know not with the war so close." she exclaimed; shock written across her face. " Well, it's a little too late for that Princess." I smiled. Twyla's concern turned to annoyance." What do you mean? She asked. I took ahold of her hand and tried to speak as softly as I could. " Twyla sweetheart we are going to have a baby." I said seriously. Twyla busted out laughing. " What are you pregnant?" she declared. I stared straight at her stiff as a board preparing myself for the next couple of words coming out of my mouth. " No, you are Princess." I replied. The next thing I knew Twyla's eyes rolled into the back of her head and she fainted.
