Aries Pov

Twyla and I have been locked in our quarters for a complete week today. Chloe and Seth have been running things in the pack while we have been so called occupied, and Ms. Rose has been bringing us food and drinks. Tomorow Twyla and I would meet the Alphas of the packs at the front gate of the property. Her heat finally subsiding, I felt it was finally safe enough to leave our quarters. As hard as it is to believe we have grown even closer over the last week. Twyla came out of the closet wearing a sundress with her hair in a high ponytail. I growled low taking her into my arms and kissing her deeply. She pushed back laughing. "Aries we are leaving this room." She ordered. " Yes mam," I replied. I pulled on my blue jeans and threw on a white t shirt that hugged my abs. I looked up getting ready to ask Twyla if she wanted to leave, but she was staring at my shirt eyes black. "Like what you see Princess," I stated. Twyla shook her head her eyes clearing." Nope," She replied, trotting to the door. I chuckled, following her as we descended the stairs.

We headed down to my office to talk to Seth and Chloe. Both of us needed to be updated on how the pack was faring, and make sure we were ready for the arrival of the packs tomorrow. We walked into my office, and I nearly gagged. Seth had Chloe in his lap making out in my chair, his hands under her shirt. I cleared my throat and both of them stood up quickly straightening their clothes. "Good morning, Alpha, "Seth declared trying to catch his breath. Twyla and I looked to each other smirking." I leave you in charge of my office and you two decide to use it as a love den." I said, firmly. Chloe gasped as I gave them both a stern look, and they both looked at the ground red in shame. Twyla had her hand over her mouth trying not to laugh. Finally, we both busted out laughing cracking up at the sight. Chloe stomped over and punched my shoulder. "Really Aries? You both about gave us a heart attack. "She exclaimed. " I couldn't help it you two are just too gullible. "I stated. Chloe and Seth busted out laughing to. I wiped down my desk chair before taking a seat. Twyla came to stand beside me, while Seth and Chloe took seats on the couch.

"So, what is the status update of the pack? "I asked. Seth placed a file in front of me." Everything is good our fighters are stronger than ever. We still have the border patrol, and it has been all quiet. Still no sign of Samuel. We have finished preparing for the incoming packs, so we are ready. "He replied. I smiled. "Awesome job Seth. Twyla and I want to thank you both for everything you did this past week." I declared. Seth grinned at the praise. "Your welcome Alpha. It's our pleasure. "He stated." Looks like know all we have to do is meet the pack Alpha's in the morning. "I explained.

The next morning

We stood together holding hands, with Seth standing on the right side of Twyla and Jeremy to my left. Two of the fighters opened the gates and the Alphas started filing in. My wolf was not happy with this at all, and it was taking all I had to restrain him. The five Alphas made a line in front of us, and my mouth dropped at what they did next. They bowed on one knee in front of Twyla.

Twyla's Pov

At the moment my eyes were literally bugging out of my head. The Alphas were kneeling on one knee in front of me, after a few seconds Eric Sanders Alpha of the Canadian pack stood up and approached me. " My Queen, after leaving here two weeks ago we all still had our doubts about you being the queen. But last night the moon goddess came to all of us Alphas in a dream and told us not to be afraid but to submit to you so you can lead us all to a better stronger werewolf nation. Our packs our yours we will do whatever you ask of us." he explained, holding out his hand. I smiled before reaching out and shaking Eric's outstretched hand. My wolf and I were so proud that we were finally recognized for who we are, and I suddenly felt a warm strong sense take over my body.

" My Alphas thank you all for coming. We are all going to work together these next couple of months to ensure the safety of the werewolf nation. Let us all go and eat the food being prepared, and then this afternoon we will create our fight training schedule. Everyone please bring in your packs and make yourself at home." I declared. The Alphas know all standing, nodded their heads in unison. " Yes, our Queen." They replied. Aries turned to look at Seth and handed him a map of our territory showing where each pack was supposed to go. " Seth, I need you and Jeremy to oversee and make sure each Alpha and their pack get settled in comfortably. Twyla and I are going to head back to the pack house. If there is any trouble just mind link me, and we will come." he stated. " Yes Alpha, " Seth stated before nodding to the Alphas to follow him and Jeremy.

Aries and I watched as they walked away, and I noticed Aries was unusually quiet. He had a stern look on his face, I reached my hand to caress his face. He looked down and gave me a gentle smile. " What's wrong?" I asked. Aries took both my hands in his. " I'm fine princess actually I'm ecstatic. Before meeting you, my goal was to unite the werewolf nations, and know I see the moon goddess gave me that desire. She had planned this all along." he explained, pulling me into his embrace as he leaned down and kissed me. " And I am so proud to be your mate. To rule by your side is the greatest gift I can ever ask for." I blushed and Aries laughed at me, as we walked hand in hand back to the pack house. Chloe was out front with the other females of the pack laying out food for lunch. I ran over to help her set up a table she was struggling with, Aries was not too far behind me.

Soon lunch was set out, and the alphas started bringing their packs up to the house to eat. Alpha Eric approached me along with the other Alphas each one holding a plate of food. " My queen what is our first plan of action after lunch?" he asked. I swallowed my mouthful of burger, before replying to him." I am going to need all the Alphas in an hour in the conference room to plan a strategy. We only have a couple of months to prepare. All the wolves in each pack over 18 males and females need to be in the training field 6 hours a day preparing for the battle."

The Alphas nodded their head in response." Yes, my Queen." Each one left to go to their own pack until the meeting. I decided to take a small break from everyone and left to go to mine and Aries bedroom to take a nap. I had noticed I had started feeling nauseous at the lunch and thought maybe I was getting sick. As soon as I had laid down on our bed I had to jump up and run to the toilet to throw up. My head was pounding, as I brushed my teeth after that nasty mess. I walked back to the bed and fell off to sleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

Aries Pov

I was talking to Seth and Chloe, when I suddenly noticed Twyla had disappeared. I tried to mind link her but couldn't get through. So, I ran inside, and caught her scent that smelled very off going up to our bedroom. I followed it and found her sleeping on our bed. She was curled up in a ball and I picked her up and laid her next to me. I couldn't understand what smelled different about Twyla's scent, until all of a sudden it came to me. Before my father and mother had retired, my dad had said when a female werewolf conceives her scent changes due to the baby's scent intermingling with hers. I took a good long whiff next to my mark on Twyla's neck, and yep, her scent was definitely different. I can't believe it; Twyla and I are going to have a pup. I am so happy right know I could burst, but I don't know how Twyla is going to take it. I have to wake her up soon for the meeting, so I will have to tell her tonight when we are alone. The question in my mind was: will Twyla be happy about us having a baby?
