Preston's P.O.V:

The doorbell to our house rang as we all looked at each other.

"Rock-Paper-Scissors?" I asked.

Zachariah nodded as we both held our hands out.

"Loser get the door." Zachariah said.

"Rock-Paper-Scissors!" I shouted.

I held out my hand as I fist to match rock.

Zachariah held his hand out flat like paper.

He smirked, "I win."

I threw my hands in frustration, "fine."

I walked up to the door as I looked through the little peep hole.

There was a guy from my school looking around.

I squinted as I realized it was Edgar from my brother's grade.

I opened the door as he smiled at me.

"Hey. Zachariah Wentz lives here right?" He asked.

"Well, he's my brother." I said. "Let me call him out."

I left the door open as I walked to the living room to find my younger brother.

"Someone is calling you." I told him.

"Who?" He asked.

"Edgar."

He stood up as he walked up to the door. Abigail and I followed close behind.

"Hey." Edgar said to Zachariah.

"If you want my homework, you should have texted me." Zachariah rolled his eyes.

"No! Well, I came for that too." Edgar scratched the back of his neck. "I want to invite you to a party tonight."

"A party?" Abigail asked.

"If that's okay with your parents." Edgar looked at Andy, Joe, Patrick, and my dad.

"Sure." Andy said.

"No!" Patrick yelled.

"We'll see you there." Abigail smiled at Edgar.

"Alright. Party starts at eight." Edgar handed Zachariah a paper. "There's my address. It's only ten minutes from here."

We all said goodbye to him as we shut the door.

"What was that?" Patrick scolded Andy.

"Patrick. They're kids. They need a life." Andy defended.

"Well, I lived like that. Look at me now! I am some killer!"

"Hey!" Let's all try to analy-" Joe started.

"SHUT UP!" Andy and Patrick yelled in unison.

Joe held up his hands in surrender as he stepped away.
